Vince Young is currently under contract with CLE.

And he will have a job at UT when it is all over.

The Vikings' OC is Norv Turner.

He had to see more in any draftee to tell Rick Speilman not to extend Ponder , but Spielman is still on the hook as he has been on the MIN staff for years.

I'm actually excited. Its kind of crazy. I've been jaded for years when it comes to the Browns. But wow! Gilbert to basically complete your defense. A first round pick next year - probably Top 15, and you took the most dynamic player in college. I have my reservations about Manziel, but there is something about the kid... he will NOT be denied.

Even if Manziel is a bust... you got the guy you wanted at 8 and some how you got another first round pick for 2015. The Browns basically traded 1st round, 3rd round, and 5th round, for a 1st round, a 4th round, and a 1st round next year. That is highway robbery... that is grand larceny... that is getting away like a bandit. Well done Mr. Farmer, well freaking done.

The Browns defense is already a legitimate playoff defense and it's been that way for a few years. They added a guy to play opposite Joe Haden so they just got even tougher. Their problem has always been that they've never had competent pieces on the offense. Is Manziel the guy? I don’t think so, but I’ve reached a sort of Pittsburgh Pirates relationship with the Browns where it’s like “come on, figure it out because at a certain point beating you every time isn’t fun for us anymore either and is just kinda sad”. So if this is the answer for Cleveland then I look forward to having another division rival other than the Steelers and Ravens.

The Browns clearly had a great night and I’m happy for their fans. The only thing they’ve had to get excited about in the last decade was Peyton Hillis appearing on the Madden Cover and he was awful the next year.

At the same time though, Manziel is easy to hate and watching him flame out will be sweeter than Weeden/McCoy/Quinn/Frye/Couch etc combined.

I know what you mean, I would've taken anyone. But I was at the FSU- Wake game and the ACC Championship, and I saw his presence out there on the field. Newton has a great target in Benjamin.
