RedSox44
We've had a couple of prototype/unused re-brand threads through the years, so I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to everyone's favourite logos from the world of what-could-have-been. I'll start. This is the best logo the Patriots organization ever came up with, in my opinion. So They almost went from Elvis to Belichick?Nope. That was originally proposed in 1978, so they would've almost gone from Pat Patriot to Belichick.
TBGKon
I was watching a video for the Bucs' top 10 plays, and saw this. Here is the video, it's pretty neat for a custom list. You dont know how much I would give to have a black cap with the TB Bucs monogram on it. I remembered first seeing them years ago and kicking myself now for not buying one.
Braden
Gotta go back to the Ottawa Renegades of the CFL.It was only used for 1 year, if you could call it that.
loogodude90
I know this wasn't really "unused," but I thought that extremely-short-lived Blazers alternate logo from around 2003 wasn't as bad as most people seemed to think it was. Milo Meningocele
That Bengal logo is god awful. Looks like a house cat.I actually think it's far better than the one they use...maybe just slap some pupils in the eyes.

Gothamite
Yeah, but if they have that around the stadium does it really qualify as "unused"? The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
RedSox44
Here's a sleeve patch from an Orioles 1995 prototype road jersey:Probably would've been gone before the year 2000.
Gothamite
And brought back for 2012. I love that prototype. Orange piping on gray for the win. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
walby2
There was a CFL franchise granted in 1982, to play out of Halifax, but lack of a stadium, among other things, meant the franchise never really got much beyond that stage. This logo is used by a groups from Atlantic Canada supporting a CFL franchise in the Maritimes.I like the logo, and have used it in a custom Madden league. The only hitch is that would have meant two out of 10 teams would have had a variation on the nautical-A logo. Toronto's logo at the time:In any case, I suspect the Halifax logo was probably a temporary job.
