Story B: Red Wings go undefeated and score 100 goals in every game. They also beat a team comprised of Godzilla, the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, 2 Power Rangers and Betty White. Oh, and they played in the middle of Iraq on a military base. In the sand. With no ice. Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy.

I'm not seeing much different here. The home looks sharp, the road grey looks bland, the home alts are about what you'd expect. But there's no flavor at all.

I love it. All 3 of the news ones are nice but the home and away in particular are huge upgrades over the ones they replace (particularly the now bowtieless away). Never been a fan of cap logos on jerseys but it works with the blue and white piping. The home in particular looks alot like their 1930's PCL jerseys just with sand in place of red.

I would've rather seen just the friar, without the circle and wording, on the sleeve of all jerseys, and I think they could've replaced the white outlining on the roads with sand, but overall it's a nice update. Better than the last, but IMO still not as great as the brown and gold could've been. And it appears block numbers now?

So...what are the Padres' team colors again?

*Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. 😁
