Who will be No. 1: The 2015 NFL Draft Thread

I really hope the Redskins don't :censored: this up. Either Williams, Fowler, or Cooper will be on the board when we pick. If it's Williams (or Fowler) we could try to trade down to Atlanta's 8 pick and get Scherff their who addresses the biggest need. I'd be okay with either of those four outcomes, I'm just certain they'll find a way to :censored: it up.

The rumors for trading up to #2 are getting crazy. In order of likelihood: Eagles, Browns, Bears.

I could see this if the Eagles decided to trade for Mariota (Just an educated guess).

Eagles Trade:

  • 2nd Round pick
  • Sam Bradford

Titans Trade:

  • #2 Pick

Allow me to correct this hilariously wrong prediction:

PHI gets:

  • #2 overall

TEN gets:

  • 20th overall 2015
  • 52nd overall 2015
  • 145th overall 2015
  • 1st rd 2016
  • 1st rd 2017

The Titans are basically telling teams that if you want the #2 pick, you'll need at least 3 first round picks worth of value to get that selection. Browns have the ammo but probably not the balls to give all that up. The Bears are a wild card. Philly is probably the most desiring of that selection, so they may have to outbid the Bears pretty intensely, in which case the above is the likely cost for Mr. Mariota.

Any scenario I see for the Eagles involves them trading Bradford, either to Tenn with #20, another 1 or 2, and a player or two, or to Cleveland witth another pick for their 12 which would then be included in the deal.

The above scenario of a 2+ Bradford is laughable. If I'm chip kelly, I'd throw in a blow job to the entire Titans coaching staff if they'd do that deal.

Bradford did kinda make fun of his former team when he was traded, so that by itself deserves some karma. Then add in the fact that his injuries and contract were large chunks of the Rams' problems to begin with...

Hearing that the Eagles are out on the #2 pick, and are trying to get Tampa to make a trade for the #1 pick.
