Cincy DEFINITELY lost that game, and they acted as stupid as it gets. But how that Burfict hit was villianized to the point it was while the knockout blow on Bernard was basically ignored just baffles me.What an absolutely trash game. Errors of commission (...looking at you, Darrell Bevell and Russ Wilson) are one thing, but giving the Steelers 30 yards of field position without even making them do a thing moving the football...I cannot even begin to fathom that.Vontaze Burfict was out of control all night and it looked like he was going to escape it before doing something colossally stupid. I'm all about people crying conspiracy when the officiating is deciding these games, but the real winner would've been if Burfict wasn't down and wrong to the wrong end zone. It'll probably be the discipline aspect of this game that'll get Marvin Lewis fired.I don't have a problem with the officiating (and for the record, the Bengals Radio Network guys didn't, either). The Burfict hit on Brown was a clear "defenseless player" hit. Whatever Pacman did was probably worthy of a flag. Those two knuckleheads cost their team. And probably cost their coach his job. You'd figure after dodging a bullet from that first dumb penalty, it would make the coach revolt and the players to focus they're so, so close. But nope that's not what happened. All game, it looked like Burfict was going to take a stupid penalty that cost his team the game, but instead he knocks out Roethlisberger with the sack and then gets the interception that seals the game."
