FiddySicks
Houston's got a problemYet Bill O'Brien, who controls the 53, passed on Bortles along with Bridgewater and Carr (twice) to draft Tom Savage then used this offseason to sign free agent Brian Hoyer.Bill O'Brien is an absolutely AWFUL coach. I've never once thought he was even remotely good. For as good as the Texans defense is, they won't win :censored: till he's outta there. TheRicSlick
4 picks by Hoyer. At this point, BoB, do the right thing an bench him. Houston fans are probably asking for his head at this point.

CS85
Aren't the Bengals like 10 years behind firing their coach and GM? Quote "You are nothing more than a small cancer on this message board. hbgoo1975
The Bengals for five years have been a contender, yet they always stink it up in the postseason. This year's no different!
The_Admiral
Aren't the Bengals like 10 years behind firing their coach and GM?Marvin Lewis is Mega-Lovie. I don't think the Bengals even have a GM; the owner just wings it himself because his dad was Paul Brown. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
FiddySicks
Lol OF COURSE that ended up benefitting Pittsburgh. Never mind the spearing/targeting non call. HedleyLamarr
Lol OF COURSE that ended up benefitting Pittsburgh. Never mind the spearing/targeting non call. There's no targeting in the NFL. I think that was handled correctly...you're not defenseless once you've made that "football move", as in turning upfield.I'm very surprised the NFL doesn't have a strict policy on the removal of bottle caps on any bottled drinks sold in the stadium. These are games attended by fans that spend at least a few hours getting beered up in the parking lot before the game, and when a game's not going a certain way against a hated rival....liberties get taken and things happen. FiddySicks
Isn't the rule that you can't use the crown of your helmet to make a hit, especially helmet to helmet? I've seen that called a million times as a penalty. But it wasn't called there because the league just makes :censored: up as they go along. Cosmic
Love that the announcers repeatedly said that the hit on Bernard was good, but called the hit on Roethlisberger a "pile driver".Edit: Knowing the entire NFL rule book seems to be only marginally easier than knowing the entire tax code, but the Bernard hit is exactly the kind of thing that shouldn't be in the game IMO: head down, helmet to helmet. See what you hit... once upon a time, they used to teach kids that.
