Though it will be interesting to see how they apply names. Definitely better than an all black or all white back.
Gothamite
Agreed. It's kind of an inspired solution. But let's see what long names and double-digit numbers look like. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.
Captain Tsubasa
I hope they either go with their stretched or inline typeface for the numbers.

The stretched version is horrible IMO, and the inline version isn't much better. I really hope they don't go with either of those for the kits. upperV03
Footy Headlines has a mockup of the U.S. Gold Cup pre-match shirt: This could offer some possible clues at the actual kit, such as the type of sublimated star design that could be on it. Plus, it doesn't have any yellowish gold accents, so I would guess the actual kit won't either.
aawagner011
Regardless, this is promising because it actually looks American for the first time in about 4-5 years! I'm a fan. Love the fact that navy blue is back. Now just leave the blue well enough alone. I haven't enjoyed the royal blue over the years (though interestingly enough I like the pale blue sleeves on the white kit- the navy trim and numbers help). Fingers crossed, the real one(s) and overall uniform turn out in a similar way. I'd buy a lot of US Soccer merch if that's the case. Haven't bought a thing since almost 7 years because of the old terrible logo, crappy colors etc.
Gothamite
I like the blue stars. The white ones, not so much. Or at all, actually. The Green Bay Packers Uniform Database! Now in a handy blog.

upperV03
Liverpool away, based on the 1995/96 kit. Not a fan of the collar, but I think I'll warm up to the rest of the design.
aawagner011
Celtic kit is beautiful. Love the monochrome golden details. That's how you do an anniversary kit (particularly how much it stays true to the original 1967 design). Sponsor drags it down a bit but not much they could have done about that. I daresay this might be even better than the 2007 tribute to 1967, which was always a favorite of mine.
Digby
That is just simply how Celtic should look, the platonic ideal of their kit. At least we'll see it every ten years to mark the anniversary. as for USMNT -- hardest of passes, thanks. The middle line from the tip of the V neckline straight down to the hem has the potential to be a muddy yellow mess. Its not as sharp as this years but I actually like it. mattb6
These kits coming out lately are wonderful. Props to adidas, and even NB for the Celtic and Liverpool strips.
Kramerica Industries
I don't know if this is the right thread to say this, but I'm not sure what the right thread would be if it isn't, but... I know Valencia traditionally wears white shirts with black shorts, and there's nothing wrong with that, BUT...my g-d, their clash kit, black shirts with orange shorts, is sexy as hell and I legitimately wish that was what they actually wore.
