Rams and 49ers are two of the most bi polar teams I’ve ever seen. I genuinely have no idea how the NFC West is going to end up finishing. Can none of these teams make the playoffs?

💩, at this point? I almost feel like the Seahawks could still :censored: around and win that division.

The Seahawks aren't too far from being 3-1.

The 49ers will win this division, no doubt.

Whoever wins this division is probably going to get molly-whooped come playoff time, I think I know that much.

As for who wins it? I'd  gonna agree with @DG_ThenNowForever and say San Fran, they look like the best team by far. LA, Seattle and Arizona absolutely could prove me wrong.

People rip on the Cowboys all the time for not winning a Super Bowl since 1995 but the 49ers are in that same boat (1994), even though they've been more successful recently. Shanahan will :censored: up eventually. He always does.

The NFC is mediocre this year anyway so who knows.

Only thing I can think of as far as that goes is that while both teams have mostly been clown shows since the 2000s, Jerry Jones was made for the spotlight, York not so much, ergo you hear a lot more about what's going on with the Cowboys, whereas outside of the Lance/Jimmy G QB controversy, it tends to mostly be Bay Area media that rips York for how the Niners have fared in the post-dynasty era.

I think it is because the 49ers made a Super Bowl during that span, while Dallas has not made it back to the NFC title game since their last SB triumph so Dallas will get more grief.

The four best teams in the league are the Bills, Chiefs, 49ers and Eagles.

No one expected the latter two to be good, so the expectations are being reset in real time.

By the way, that would be an amazing NFL playoff final four. I hope it happens.

My first instinct was to say yes, but then I look at the AFC and the only two teams that really stand out to me are Buffalo and KC, so 🤷‍♂️

EDIT: Wait, what? How are you putting the 49ers in the top four? They’ve lost to the Bears and Broncos. If anything I’d still put teams like Green Bay and Tampa above them.

Oh, shoot. In my mind the Niners won the Denver game. Whoops. The Bears loss was weak one in a monsoon; sometimes that happens.

Green Bay and Tampa Bay have looked old and sad.

I think a lot of people expected the Eagles to be good after the way they revamped the roster.  Maybe not "best in NFC" good, but in the top 4 or 5 for sure.  I don't know what Vegas said prior to opening day, but it wouldn't have surprised me if their win total was something like 10.5.  Could be totally wrong though.

Eagles feel like they’re rounding into form maybe a season earlier than expected, but yeah it’s not too surprising to see them playing well. My biggest question mark was Hurts (who I’m definitely rooting for), and so far he’s looked great.

So Seattle is going to take themselves out of the CJ Stroud/Bryce Young Sweepstakes and win 7-9 games aren't they?

Why would they want to move on from a top 5 QB?
