2022 NFL regular season through Super Bowl LVII

Recommended Posts

Bengals are hitting it at the right time. Bengals hit the road for games against a mediocre Buccaneers (but they do have Tom Brady) and the Patriots (they still got Belichick). Then its two of the biggest games of the season at home. Monday Night football against the Bills and ending the regular season against a quarterback depleted Ravens in what I have a feeling will be a flexed to Sunday Night game for the AFC North title. Either way. The next month for the Bengals should be fun to watch.

The more I watch the Patriots, the more I don't want to see them in the playoffs. It would just be a repeat of last year.

At least if they miss the playoffs, there's a good chance Kraft will step in & force Belichick to fire Judge & Patricia.

he'll re-assign Judge and Patricia instead of firing them.

I feel like the Bengals could be the new Bills. Getting to 4 straight Super Bowls only to lose all of them… to NFC West teams.

Bite your tongue. Although last night I was talking to a friend and thought that it could be possible to see the Bengals in the Super Bowl against San Francisco this year.  Something about the Bengals in the Super Bowl always leads to them playing teams from California.

With Beasley coming out of retirement for the Bills, and the Cowboys signing TY Hilton, all this tells me is that OBJ must seriously be cooked.

Lol I’m sorry, wait, WHAT?!

He already “came out of retirement” once this season to play with the Bucs 😵💫

Has that ever happened before?

Maybe not cooked, but clearly not ready in time for teams to consider paying him for what could be maybe the playoffs only.

I looked up players who came out of retirement, and the only guy I saw who did it twice was Michael Jordan. So Cole Beasley is in rarified air here.

While looking up players who came out of retirement, I also learned that Randy Moss is one of those guys, and that he was on the Titans for a bit, and that he ended his career in SF. I had no idea.

He played in the Super Bowl with the 49ers. Gave up on a pass that was picked off and probably sealed the game for the Ravens.

You know, I watched that game and remember the blackout and the Ravens won, but that's about it.

Wild that Randy Moss was in the game and I have zero memory of it.

But in fairness, I couldn't really tell you much of what happened in the last handful of Super Bowls. The last memorable one to me was Hawks/Pats, but for all the wrong reasons.

Eric Weddle came out of retirement after two years to win a Super Bowl with the Rams last year in the playoffs.
