Just messing with ya, sorry the Jets lost. But of course, the Snatit do the most Snatit thing ever, get off to a good start before imploding against the fookin Jaguars! Grrr!

The Cowboys are lucky to escape with that win today. They were awful today. A better team than the Texans beats them. Credit to Dallas, I guess, for pulling out that win, but it was ugly.

EDIT: But that win guaranteed the Cowboys first back-back 10+ win seasons in 26 years. I'll take it.

That game was a classic example of a really good team not taking a really bad team very seriously.

This play might have won the game. Mike White fumbled the next play and didn't look the same afterwards.

I'm surprised Flacco didn't go more playing time. White still had some nice plays after, but he was clearly in pain.

49ers are looking really dangerous. They look really good.

Remember how the 80s-90s Niners could just plug in any backup or third string QBs (Young, Bono, Grbac) and still not miss a beat? That's this squad.

No sir, I do not remember those teams. Hell, I wasn't even alive for some of those teams. I was too young. Earliest memory I have of the Niners is the last years of the Steve Young and Garrison Hearst teams. I was born in the early 90's so my first NFL season I can truly remember in earnest was the '97 season (though I have vague memories of Super Bowl 31).

I have never known a NFL with the Cowboys and 49ers both being among the NFC favorites.

Ah, the Steeler Special. 😛

Recently co-opted and remixed to death by the Snatit...who of course got dropped by a full two+ scores to those sneaky streaky Jacksonville Jaguars on their own home field because of course they did...Snatit gonna Snatit after all.

But credit to Jacksonville, though... that team is gonna be one to watch next year, if they can keep their pieces together. I see lots of the Del Rio Jags blooming in that group (which coincidentally was the last Jags squad I actually cared about...all they've got to do is keep it together for four quarters consistently--and find another pass catcher or two who can really stretch the field. No one wanted to play those Del Rio Jags.. and if Doug Pederson can keep this up and Trent Baalke doesn't pull a Jon Robinson doppelganger act,  the same may be said for this group soon enough.

I'm thoroughly confused on what is a catch and what isn't a catch in the NFL. It seems to change from game to game, hell even play by play at some points.

It's beyond ridiculous. My solution is to go with the "I can't define a catch, but I know one when I see one" approach. If there is a questionable catch, have the entire officiating crew view the play. If the majority agree that it's a catch then it's a catch and vice versa.  The NFL would need to put a time limit on it so it doesn't turn into a Monty Python sketch, but it can't be any worse than what we already have.

The XFL sending the calls to HQ and letting fans hear the deliberation (that happened, right?) was a nice innovation the NFL should implement.

I knew coming to this game was a mistake and I was right. Why did Tom Brady even come back? What was even the point?
