I think he means dark orange.

They've never used dark orange. I think he's referencing the red from the creamsicle era, which would make no sense to do since their regular uniform is red and would defeat the purpose of throwing back to the creamsicle era in the first place.

I've always thought it was a darker orange instead of red.

It could be a cool reverse retro or fauxback. But I want to see the real Creamsicles first.

Lions wore blank light blue helmets from 1950-55. My guess is that will be the shell but not sure as what the logo will be, if any. (ALT HMT is blue…Lions trying to be clever)

edit: Metallic blue helmet, silver stripes, silver logo, and a metallic blue facemask is my guess. Essentially an inverse of the current helmet, to go with the gray jersey set.

The stripe where "June 21" is is the same stripe as on the blue pants, which is the same style as the regular helmet. My guess is just a recoloring of the silver helmet but with white elements instead of blue, with the team pulling a panthers and making the all-blue look the color rush to pair the helmet with

I’m pretty sure the stripes on that car are a giveaway of some sort. It’s pretty close to their current helmet stripe pattern, anyway.

As far as teasers go, this is about the most creative one yet...but shouldn't that license plate read ALT HLMT instead??

My bet: blue with white northwestern stripe...

Spoiler

Watch me be wrong...

Yeah, I'm assuming blue with stripes to match the car. I don't love the idea, but I also don't like them wearing anything other than silver helmets and pants with either blue or white jerseys.

The alternate helmet can’t be worn with regular home and road unis.
