A quote I will never read again 🤣

No, I'll gladly admit to it and I'm not the only person who has similar feelings regarding Liberty. Check out discussions involving Liberty on r/CFB and you'll see Virginia fans saying they'd root for Virginia Tech over Liberty, Michigan fans saying they'd root for Ohio State over Liberty, Florida fans saying they'd root for Florida State over Liberty, etc. etc.

Who Kevin, I will not root for Ohio State or Arizona. I just won’t tune in and forget the game exists

Those people aren't true Michigan fans.

I'm just relating what I saw on Reddit: a lot of posts from people saying that they'd rather root for their most bitter rival over Liberty.

Washington is impressive.  They had that big win against Oregon before stumbling through some conference games (ASU and Stanford) and I thought it was a near certainty that Oregon would get them the next time around, which they obviously didn't.  I feel like either of these teams would struggle with Michigan but I'm actually not sure about Washington anymore.

If there was a 12 team playoff, there's a realistic chance I'd have had to make this decision in a playoff game (either FSU or Georgia vs Liberty).  My rooting interests would be 1. Meteor 2. Liberty.  Thank god the alliance voted against expanding the playoff this year and saved me from that.

The whole thing goes well beyond football, but we’re not really supposed to get into all of that here anymore. Let’s just say I agree with you.

Texas looks cooked, and like they have absolutely no idea what Penix is doing. Lots of people were big mad about Bama getting into the playoffs, but Texas is the  one that really bugged me.  I don’t see how the Big 12 was so much better than the ACC to justify that. They’re obviously the weakest of these four, and them getting worked tonight just makes the whole FSU fiasco look even more like a shameless ratings grab.

Of course :censored:ing Bama caused all of this by losing to the horns and beating Georgia. I would really love to see them catch a postseason ban for a few seasons. Give us all a break.

And that's the last I'll be saying of the matter.

It's really a shame that we're going to get Washington/Michigan in the final and it won't be in Pasadena.

Penix has one of the most beautiful throws I've ever seen.

I hadn’t really watched Washington yet this year, but he seems ridiculously good. I wasn’t really invested in the Heisman race, but after watching him I’m really surprised he didn’t win it.

This game should be over but DeBoer played it in the dumbest possible way between throwing it on that third down of their second-to-last possession and not just kneeling it on their last one.

Nevermind. That was awesome! Cardiac Huskies live another day.

And we won over Sark. Not a bad night!

Insane day of football. Incredible games, and the two teams that jumped FSU are gonzo so that should quiet that whole thing a bit.

I think Michigan runs away with it next Monday, but Washington is very solid, has one of the best QBs in the country, and seems to have a Golden horseshoe shoved up their asses so who knows? I’ll for sure be pulling for U Dub so the PAC 12 wins the title in its final season.

Well, I'm sure the ratings were great so I guess the playoff committee won there.

Completely bailed out. They got two very good games, and ultimately got the two undefeated teams in the title game. Now they won’t have people (including me) whining excessively about the final two.

Being in a bar full of Nebraska fans when they added one second back on the clock for Texas was a case of collective PTSD lol

Anyways, great final matchup for the four team playoff.

The first and the last CFP have been the only ones without an SEC team or a Southern team in general. Pretty rare stuff, fingers crossed we see more of that with 12.

i have unquantifiable corpses on my conscience

Not only that, we’re bookended by rivals. That’s a funny coincidence.
