DCarp1231
It certainly is interesting the Raiders decided to name their LBs Coach, Antonio Pierce, as the Interim HC. I mean it’s not that surprising considering no one on the coaching staff is noteworthy.
Cujo
How many Patriots New England did Tom Brady help get HC jobs? On the offensive and defensive side. They've all been complete trash and got gigs based on the Patriots' success (which we now know happened because of Tom and not BB). Hopefully this is the last failed ex-Pats assistant to get a gig. The_Admiral
Truly one of the worst head coaches of all time. He didn't crack the Urban Petrino level, but not for lack of trying. The_Admiral
Thinking about the story of how McDaniels supposedly didn't go to the Colts because Jim Irsay was in his bathroom too long, either for a massive bump or a massive dump. Either way, Jim Irsay is still the better person in this anecdote. 1 3 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Unocal
Pittsburgh is last year’s Minnesota in reverse If those Vikes were an offense without a defense, these Stillers are a defense without an offense
Cujo
Miami Dolphrauds. The day they can compete vs a good team is the day I'll put them back in the Super Bowl conversation. Until then, the East belongs to Buffalo.

Yes because the Bills have been totally performing at a Super Bowl level in all their games so far this season, right? I'm going to say it: The Dolphins are going to lose to every Super Bowl contender on their schedule. This offense, like pretty much last season, is a facade and not sustainable. Fraudulent is a word I'd use, but as long as they can pat their record and stats until playoff time, I just don't really care. I went well over a decade seeing this team finish with no more than eight wins a season. I'll take a fraudulent team as long as they're relevant in the playoff picture. I'm guessing you didn't fully read my quote so I'll just post it there again. One win against a single opponent doesn't define them. The Dolphins can still finish ahead of the Bills, even being swept.

GDAWG
I suspect that the Raiders will ask one of the quartet of Charley Casserly, Ron Wolf, Bill Polian or Ernie Acorsi to consult them on the GM and coaching hires. NFL teams need to stop doing that.

Plain and simple. I don’t think they’ll have too much trouble winning the east. It’s kind of an overrated division IMO. But come playoff time when they have to play someone like Baltimore or KC again? Yeah, not gonna happen.
