The Browns chickened out on doing all orange with their 2015 look so hopefully the Bengals do it.

I WANT TO SEE IT.

GO FULL BENGAL.

DO IT.

Every team that goes mono from here on out should use 'full' and the team name.

Cards in all red? Full Cardinal.

Ravens? Full Raven.

Browns? Full Brown...well maybe not.

I like it. I questioned back in 2021 why they went with two pairs of white pants rather than one set of white, a black pair, and an orange pair. This feels like they finally made the right call. As long as they never wear them with orange socks then I think they'll be okay.

My combo rankings

1. black jersey - orange pants

2. white jersey - orange pants

3. orange jersey - orange pants

After looking at these for a while, the black socks make a HUGE difference if they're gonna go all-orange.

On the other hand...

...The orange socks make these approach new-Anaheim Ducks levels of garishness. Amazing what a simple change in sock color can accomplish.

Same would hold true for these...

...It NEEDS the black socks to truly work.

Oh my god. These are SO GOOD.

Bengals are the best looking team in the league and it isn’t even close.

They're definitely up there. Among non-traditional (or neo-traditional) looks, they're probably one or two depending on how one feels about the Chargers. Personally, I wish they'd adapt their team script font for their numbers—or at the very least get rid of the unnecessary angled cuts in some of their current numbers—but otherwise, yeah, Cincinnati hit a triple when this unveiled; adding the orange pants (plus BLACK socks, and ONLY with black socks) stretches this out into an inside-the-park home run.

Objectively speaking, I don't disagree, and perhaps somewhere down the line they may resurrect these as some type of heritage throwback set (hopefully sans unnecessary  nickname). It's been about 20 years now since those went into the bin, so maybe somewhere in the next 5-10 seasons Cincinnati could do that.

Doing that, though, would require them making a choice to 86 either their Jungle Kat alternates or their alternate orange jerseys.............

Bo Nix dazzles in Denver Broncos 34-30 victory over Indianapolis Colts - Mile High Report

After having some time to think about the new Broncos uniforms after their debut, I have 2 things that I think would have made these better:

-Don't know why they didn't go with TV numbers on the shoulders, but they need them there. Those jerseys look super incomplete without them.

-The helmet needs to ditch the near-invisible triangles "stripe" and go with, IMO, a more noticeable orange tapered stripe. The matte finish looked better than I expected, but I would still prefer a finish closer to their old helmet.

Also, the all white is a bit too much for me, navy socks would work much better on this particular combo. Other than that, I think they looked pretty good in-game. I do think a lot of the negativity comes from fans who expected the throwbacks, but honestly, all those little gimmicks in the uniform don't show up enough at a distance for me to be particularly pressed about it. I do appreciate the fact that these will be more mix-and-matchable than the old set.

Also as a side note, after having seen a number of the uniform schedules released, The fact that the NFL now allows teams to wear 3 alternate helmets, but only allows 2 of them to be worn in a total of 3 games seems a little limited, no? With the schedule having been expanded in recent years, I would say they need to increase the amount of games alternates can be worn in order to really get their money's worth, probably to 4 or 5 games. Otherwise, why expand the helmet rule if one of them can only be worn once a season? It's not like most of these alternates (outside of throwbacks/color rush) are really special enough to be one-off worthy anyway.

The helmet stripe indeed is terrible. The details are barely noticeable on TV, and there's still no reason why the stripe doesn't go the full length of the helmet.

The matte helmet decals are ok. The smaller decal size sucks.

All in all the helmet is just another trend chaser,  change for the sake of change, just like the rest of the uniform,  ends up being far more collegiate than anyone expected.  And agreed, TV numbers should be on the shoulders.

Also, there's no need for a white helmet. The navy helmets should be paired with the navy jerseys once again (as the new helmets do look really good with navy practice gear).

The bengals are a thicker number stroke and the removal of their extra white pants away from a near perfect set.

I kinda don't like the orange pants for the Bengals specifically.

I think aesthetically, it looks terrific and that goes for all the different iterations that have been mocked.

However, I truly think the Bengals nailed their look last year (though I would eliminate the black striped pants paired with the black jersey).

Every set feels appropriately Cincinnati Bengals and they were able to show off each look enough times for it to feel comfortable and not overwhelming. The Bengals have never worn orange pants and it seems to be too similar to the Browns who share some common ancestry and play in the same division.

As good as this is going to look in a vacuum, I dunno, I don't think they needed to do it.

Just that little bit of orange around the collar and on the sleeve makes a MASSIVE difference.  I don't think the set as a whole is good, but I'm so glad to have some orange on the white jerseys.

I feel like I've used this line I never understood "looks too much like a division rival is bad" to be  a bad thing. Yeah you want each team to have their own unique identity, however I think the only combo they look like the Browns in is Orange/White/Orange. They only play the Browns twice a season. At the end of the day if adding orange pants helps color balance and overall design than I'm all for it.

There are not enough games to wear all possible combos and I know some combos are not even considered but with the addition of the orange pants plus the "white Bengal" look the Bengals now have 37 possible combos. That ties the most of any NFL team with the Jaguars.

Not counting the white helmet the Bengals have 18 different white pant combos since they have 2 different white pants and the Jaguars have 18 different black jersey combos since they have both the white or black helmet options with the black jersey.

Agreed, since in football one team is required to wear white jerseys anyway it's not too much of an issue.

Hoping the Bungles wear the orange pants more than once this year...and maybe ditch the Finding Nemo white pants.

And just think, they still have another slot for a fourth jersey…

I think the smaller decal size works very well, and it mainly works because it doesn't distort like the previous one because of the curved surface area the helmet.

Could you show me an example of how the previous helmet had a distorted logo?

Uggh, I didn’t even realize the Broncos shrunk their helmet decals. That may be the biggest downgrade of everything they did this off season. That legit makes them look like a high school trying to cosplay as the Broncos. The big helmet decal was probably the best part of that look.
