San Diego Padres 2004 Alternate Blue customized (WOMACK 47)

SDSU Aztecs Fashion Baseball Jersey (Black with script SDSU on front)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Home Jersey

Calgary Flames Home Jersey (my personal Fav)

The 41 in my name is for Seaver. I'd love that Mets jersey along with a 1980s Reds home, 1984-5 White Sox home, and 1986 Red Sox road Seaver jersey. Just get the whole gammet. I'd like a vintage 1987 Sockers jersey, 1990 Gulls jersey...maybe a 1969 Padres jersey. I just like the material they're made from.

the Discrimihater in my name is sort of for He Hate Me. Sadly, I don't have his jersey :D

I do however have a Payton jersey. I guess I should have just let it airdry, cus the front number's half faded now

My favorite is my original style Calgary Flames' home jersey (back then these were the white ones)--even though it is old & worn & has a few stains I'll never get out.

I also have a guitar one-a promotional item from a guitar company--it's loosely based on the LA Kings' black & silver one--but has a hint of gold to it--so it looks a bit neater...

And while not Jerseys--

I have 3 different Calgary Stampeder Grey Cup T-shirts, a Stamps' cap & a Stamps' winbreaker--they're more my favorites in some ways...

My all time favorite I ever had would be my Minnesota North Stars road jersey (green) 1974-75 version. I got it cheap as when I bought it they had gone to a different stripe style.

My first was a Montreal Canadiens home jersey (back then the red one)-I still have the sew on crest form it--but the jersey is long since gone...

Comic Sans walks into a bar, and the bartender says, "Sorry, we don't serve your type here."

my favorite jersey i own is probably my blackburn rovers home shirt i got at christmas...

500004____ROY_1.jpg

i like it, because everyone who knows what it is, and mentions it to me, becomes an instant buddy... you'd be suprised how few people know what team it is.

i'm also a big fan of my authentic 1967 north stars jersey, and my authentic dallas stars white jersey... thank god for NHL.com's "going out of business" sale over christmas time, because i'd never have the cash to buy an authentic otherwise.

Aw, man, I voted 0-5 on account of the three baseball jerseys I own, completely forgetting about all the soccer jerseys I've picked up when travelling. Of those, my Edinburgh Hibernian shirt is my favorite:

schibhss00.gif

My favorite attending-a-foreign-sporting-event story was at Easter Road, where Hibernian play. Standing in line, I noticed that the only two food items on the concession stand's menu were "beef pie" for one pound 20 and "steak and gravy pie" for one pound 70. So I asked the guy in front of me, who was all kitted out in Hibs gear, from cap to scarf to shirt, what the difference was. He looked at me, looked at the concession stand, looked back at me, and said, "One of 'em's got gravy, lad." And he was right; for an extra 50 pence they squirted cold gravy from a squeeze bottle on my pie.

But my favorite jersey of all, even more than my home-white and road-blue Twins jerseys, is a baseball jersey I picked up at a second-hand shop. It's a professional-weight polyester full-button jersey in gray. On the front, in maroon letters with black outlines, it says "Farmers State" with the "Farmers" arcing over a flat "State." The back is the number 19 in the same maroon and black. No name. As a guy who grew up mostly in Iowa and Minnesota but now lives on the East Coast, I love my Farmers State jersey even though I have no idea what team wore it and why.

Ajh the joys of attending a soccer game ha ha.

My favourite? Hmmm thats a tough one. Visually I like my Northampton Saints Rugby road jersey. I will try and post a pic of it sometime. I like my yellow Southampton shirt from the 2003 FA Cup final and my long sleeved Southampton home shirt. Also my England shirt from the 1992 Cricket World cup.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

My favorite is my game-worn Ray Buchanan from the 1997 season, his first with the Falcons. It is so odd that I dont own many jerseys because I MAKE jerseys as a hobby/side project, but all of the ones I make I give away!So if there was anything rare or super onscure that I wanted I could just make it,but instead I choose to make them as gifts as appreciation to my friends and family.

I am poor  so I only have a few jerseys and only one or two full out nice ones.

- a blue Sixers alt. jersey of Toni Kukoc

- an old purple Vinny Testaverde Ravens jersey

- a Latrell Sprewell slanted script Warriors jersey (that jersey rules)

- a blank Flyers black jersey

- a blank red Phillies BP jersey

- a blank blue Phillies road BP jersey

and I use to have a green Andy Harmon Eagles jersey.

Only a small collection at the moment:

- Liverpool FC 04/05 Home shirt by Reebok which is a great piece of work, especially the PlayDry material which is amazingly cool in hot weather for what is basically just fancy polyester.

- c. 1994 Australian Rugby League jersey, my first and still a favourite. The classic green with 2 gold Vs on the front.

- 2002 NSW Rugby League jersey, plain sky blue with navy and white trim. A classic :)

- a throwback early 1980s Australian World Series Cricket shirt by FILA. Its the same classic stretch fabric and cut, with the bigger collars and slim fit in front, but I'm sure the green panelling on the sides is a shade or two darker than it was back then, and the FILA logo on one sleeve is new of course ^_^
