It's all about the U, baby B)....

Yah, it's not as talent-laden as the A, but it's cheaper and to be honest more exciting (seeing that I went to a Hartford-Bridgeport game last season that almost put me in a coma..then again, that might have had something to do with the teams more than anything, but that's just me)...

I guess AHL. I've never been to a minor league hockey game before, but I've got in-laws in Omaha, so I hope to catch an Ak-sar-ben Knights game sometime this season - hopefully when they're playing the Peoria Rivermen - Let's Go Blues!!!!!

Used to be a CHL man. But Topeka is out of the CHL, so to hell with them. Used to love the IHL, but we know what happend to them. So, I guess that makes me an AHL man. My new team will be Omaha. I'll be checking out a Knights game or two this fall. Maybe even sneek up to Des Moines and see the Stars.

First and foremost, I'm an American Hockey League fan. I root for the Providence Bruins. Should be eliminated from playoff contention, I then find myself rooting on the other New England-based teams in this order:

2) Hartford Wolf Pack

3) Bridgeport Sound Tigers

4) Manchester Monarchs

5) Lowell Lock Monsters

6) Portland Pirates

7) Springfield Falcons

I'm still bummed the Worcester Ice Cats are no more...maybe someone will bring a team back to Worcester sometime soon... in the mean time this is how I rank the New England teams. :hockeysmiley:

1) Portland Pirates (like their old logo better though)

2) Lowell Lock Monsters

3) Manchester Monarchs

4) Providence Bruins

5) Springfield Falcons

6) Bridgeport Sound Tigers

7) Hartford Wolf Pack

We all have our little faults. Mine's in California.
