Zhitnik's already been announced and confirmed.

LaPointe isn't, and until I hear more, it's not going up on the board. :P

In the meantime, WHOA!

When the hell did Edmonton get in on this?!

And where are my Buds in all this frenzy?

Super Wario Comix!

Allright!(I have to say that since I have no hockey in Cincy that I have to cheer for the Blue Jackets) Maybe the Blue Jackets will finally come out of the basement.

I think we need maybe two more good free agent signings before we can start dreaming of getting out of the basement, let alone the playoffs. This was a great signing for us though...no doubt about that. I'm also shocked at how agressive the Panthers have been in the free agent market this season.

Modano may not re-sign with Dallas now!

All of a sudden Boston has upped the anti for Modano, making this a tough decision for him

Not that tough of a decision...and I'm more inclined to believe this source...

I'm starting to think Naslund accepted to come back for less to free up a little more cap space for Vancouver so that they could get someone else (P.Forsberg??)

Here's a comparison between Naslund and Iginla in the last 3 years

Markus Naslund: 241 games 123 goals 155 assists 278 points +52 +/-

Jarome Iginla: 238 games 128 goals 108 assists 236 points +38 +/-

Naslund: player with the most points registered in the regular season over the past 3 years

You forgot the bit about Iginla leading the Flames to a goal away from the Cup

that foote deal was huge, maybe we can expect the jackets to go after some other big names. All this player movement reminds me of a videogame when you put it in fantasy draft on a franchise mode. Every player is on a different team from what they were on before.

You forgot the bit about Iginla leading the Flames to a goal away from the Cup

You can't forget that the Canucks were without their starting goalie for the last games of the first series, I don't think Iginla could've lead Calgary to the Stanley Cup with Alex Auld in net

But the Flames DID do it with their backup goaltender

Touché.

Four times IHL Nielson Cup Champions - Montréal Shamrocks (2008-2009 // 2009-2010 // 2012-2013 // 2014-2015)

Five times TNFF Confederation Cup Champions - Yellowknife Eagles (2009 CC VI // 2010 CC VII // 2015 CC XII // 2017 CC XIV // 2018 CC XV)

I'd like to see Naslund lead the Canucks to, say, at least the conference finals one year. That'd be great to see. Wonder if it'll ever happen.

Ya....I geuss :hockeysmiley:

I could keep this going by saying Iggy lead Calgary to only 1 playoff run while Naslund lead the Canucks to a Division Championship and the playoffs all 3 times in the last 3 years... :P

Naslund: player with the most points registered in the regular season over the past 3 years

That's great.

Last year's playoffs (03-04), Iginla had 13 goals in 26 games. In the last three playoff years combined, Naslund has a whopping total of 8 goals in 27 games.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.
