oz615
Paul Kariya has signed on with the Nashville Predators. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=132540 is right. That really came out of left field. I didn't even know Nashville was looking at Kariya. WOW, i haven't seen any indication of this in the local papers at all,i mean im speechless (in a good way)

Cujo
How the hell is the Eagles #2 WR going down and more Yankees clubhouse fighting rank ahead of the Kariya signing on ESPNEWS?? Hockey doesn't get much respect on ESPN any more.... ESPN really should get over it because, like it or not, hockey is back and making big news in the process. On ESPN.com, NHL is like the 8th sport down, behind ones such as NASCAR, Tennis, and the X Games.
BCBoy
I'm wondering if Dan Blackburn will re-sign or get signed by any NHL team or if he's a minor league player for the rest of his injury-plagued career
ROCHitman
We must come to grips with reality boys.Hockey has lost some ground in the sports market with the lockout. It may take several years for the sport to rank among the big four although I don't think it'll ever surpass NASCAR.
