Ill make this easy for everyone, because we all know each user here is gonna say thier favorite sports team's logo is the best logo.

well, except for Sabres fans

Ill throw my hat into that ring and say that Chief Wahoo of the Cleveland Indians has always been my choice as the best logo in sports.

Has always looked great on the sleeve of a jersey and still looks great on the front of a hat.

Politically correct police be damned, the Chief has always done it for me.

As far as tradition and simplicity goes, the Montréal Canadiens "CH" and New York Yankees "NY" take the cake.

As for overall design, I think I have to say the Houston Texans.

I've always liked the Penguins' skating penguin, it's a hockey classic. Still I wouldn't say it's the best of all time.

The Devil Rays? Come on.

[Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008

The first person to say either the Yankees or the Red Sox loses.

Considering only primary logos, not other aspects of team identity, I have to go with the LA Angels. A single letter with a halo that perfectly communicates the team's identity, from name down to color scheme. No text or other graphic elements needed.

Seattle Seahawks, Columbus Clippers, Detroit Red Wings, and Arsenal are my runners-up. Again, considering nothing other than the clarity of their primary logos in communicating the team identity. (I still can't find an NBA primary logo I like at all.)
