Granted its still fairly early, but there is the distinct danger that the entire Midwest bracket is about to go nuclear.

No that would be something all 4 top seeds in the region go out in the second round. That would make me feel better about Maryland losing.

Is it me or is this year's tourny so far has been competely devoid of drama save for last night's Overtime fest?

I mean, outside of UNLV, Butler, Tennessee and Vandy, it's been chalk the whole way. One word best describes it: BOR-ING!

The drama's been there. The higher seeds have just been winning more of the close games than the lower seeds.

Looks like Texas really was just Durant and a bunch of nobodies.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk. Sweet 16 here we come.

Watch them lose to a Valley team for the second year in a row.

damn, Nevada lost. Mixed emotions there. I ahd Memphis winning, but I still wouldve liked to see my school win. worst part is those hicks from the south went further than us.

Went 11/16 for Round 2 in my work pool. Better, but I don't think I'm winning anything unless something dramatic happens. Meh.

I actually picked Southern Illinios to beat them. Hopefully they do. I've already lost a Final 4 team in Texas. What I really need is for Georgetown to lose (I should have picked Vandy to beat them like I orginally wanted). That would help me out alot.

I lost more games in round 2 (9-7) than I did in round 1 (26-6). You figure it out.

6 of my elite 8 are still alive. Villanova and Wisconsin, thanks for nothing.

And my beloved Commodores, as a 6 seed, are the lowest remaining seed left in the sweet 16. One of those ESPN schmucks (either Andy Katz or Doug Gottlieb) insisted that Vandy was overseeded. So much for that argument ...

Thanks Texas. Your just like Gonzaga and Vandy, damned if I do, damned if i don't.
