Shane Does Art
Well with the Ducks' Cup Championship the hockey season is over, and possibly one of the most exciting summers coming up with all the recent jersey rumours and now the buyout of Yashin...So state all your rumours, trades or free agent signings. Hi, how are you?
BCBoy
Minnesota re-signs Backstrom for get this: 6.2 million dollars over two years. That's a large investment made in a goaltender who has never been a full time starter.
Brendan
Now where will Manny Fernandez go, lots of teams in need of a goalie I think most will be trying to win the Gigure sweepstakes though.
habsfan1
Now where will Manny Fernandez go, lots of teams in need of a goalie I think most will be trying to win the Gigure sweepstakes though.I don't think he has a reason to go anywhere else. The Ducks should make sure he doesn't pull a Khabibulin.
NJTank
The Ducks do have Brysgalov and can afford to lose him and or play hardball in negotiating www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
Lee.
The Ducks do have Brysgalov and can afford to lose him and or play hardball in negotiatingIf Burke was smart, he'd trade Bryzgalov, and make Giguere a happy, happy goalie. Like, 5 years-$32M kind of happy. Welcome to DrunjFlix
ebod39
agreed, you don't get rid of a conn smythe and cup winner that easily.Manny could end up in countless places, many teams need a stronger #1.More interesting (and nerve-wracking for me) is how the Sabres locker room is going to shake out. Briere has said he'll take less to stay. They can't afford to lose him or Drury. but signing Vanek is just as huge and being overshadowed by all the talk about them. FiddySicks
The Sharks have a similar goalie situation with Nabokov and Toskala. If they have to make the choice im sure they would rather stick with Nabokov, but I wonder if they're gonna keep both or use one as trade bait. Lee.
If not for Crawford being in charge, I could see Fernandez going to the Kings. But no, that dumbass still thinks Jacques Cloutier is the goaltender of the future. Welcome to DrunjFlix
tulanebc
I'm of the opinion that my Oilers should go after either Giguere or Fernandez....with Roloson being close to 40 and the need for ANY kind of good goaltending, I'd hope Lowe would make a hard push for a marquee goalie to get us back into the playoffs.... If you inherit Randy Johnson's facial genes, he owes you $97,000 at the very least.

Neon_Matrix
A reliable source told me today the Leafs will announce "two trades" at draft day. He couldn't say how major or minor these trades were but that players will be moved in two seperate deals. He got this information from someone who is in the know. Nothing major, but it will be a nice change for hockey fans. Welcome to DrunjFlix

Hey, it worked a few years ago in Minny.....why not in Edmonton? Only this time, Rolly would be the back up, and Manny would get the starts....and San Jose should be lucky to have such a formidable two-headed monster in goal...if only Wilson could figure out which one was HIS guy, instead of "Billy Donovan-ing" between goalies.
