I like the Giants uniform. I like the Colts uniform (now that they dumped those ugly ass striped socks). I like the Steelers uniform (even though they were smart to modify it). I like the Jets uniforms.

The Redskins uniforms are hideous. Always have been. So are Cincinnati's. An ugly uniform is a ugly uniform. The Broncos, Seahawks, Bucs, Falcons and Eagles have all figured it out and realized that their 1970s-esque uniforms were tired and played out.

The Redskins need to get into this century and use the deep maroon and mustard gold color scheme. Solid maroon socks. Simple stripe pattern on jerseys and pants. Choice of gold or maroon pants with either jersey. Would look 1000 times better than that out-of-date crap they wear now and would be UNIQUE to any other team in the league.

Maroon helmet (with current logo), no helmet stripe.

I tend to agree with you. They don't have a classic, time-honored look that hasn't changed in 50 years. They have a very dated 80s looking uniform. It's pretty clean and simple, and I don't mind it all that much, but it could use an update.

Agree. Although, when they first wore the burgandy on white look in Dallas with the black shoes last season or the season before (whenever they switched to the black shoes), I actually thought it was a good enough look to replace the whites at home.

You really seem to be a venom-filled, disrespectful youth don't you? You certainly are opinionated, but they are just that-opinions, not the absolute truth as you seem to think it is.

I get that you're young and you're into all the new stuff; you're probably sitting there wearing your Michael Vick black-and-white EQT jersey right now. But all of us "foggies" who were actually alive during the time of the more classic uniforms still like them and prefer them, and you have to understand and respect that. And what is your hatred of striped socks? In the case of the Redskins, from a design standpoint there's really no argument that the solid burgundy socks look better. The striped socks match the jersey and balance out the uniform, since the pants match the helmet. It's just good design. What's not good design is having solid colored uniforms that look like unitards.
