Swiss
Ay, que horror el poder tiene las bateas de Carlos Peña y los Bahía de Tampa Rayos.Let me correct you in Castillan: "Ay, que horror, el poder de los bates de Carlos Peña y las Mantarrayas de Tampa Bay". Tampa Bay = Bahía de Tampa, but Latin American people usually says the English name.Despite my moderate command of English, I tend to have some errors so you can correct me when you want to do it. pcgd
Jack Buck is 100x better at baseball than football.I think you mean Joe Buck. Jack was his dad and he was one of the best baseball announcers of all time.Joe is nothing compared to him at all. He's Chip Carey but with a better job.But you're right...he's much better at baseball...and even better when he used to do St. Louis baseball. His national telecasts are crap. DG_ThenNowForever
Seems like some of you Sox fans giving up on your team -- the same team that came back from 3-1 against the Yankees and won the series last year -- should probably take a look at just how much of a fan you are. Boston fans. For Christ's sakes.EDIT: I may well be confusing the Sox bellyaching with the Patriots bellyaching. Either way, if there were ever a city that lost its right to complain about poor sports performance, Boston is it. Sorry guys, but amongst all of your 7,000 championships in the 2000's, you lost that right. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

FiddySicks
Glad to see Blanton is being his typical self. Looks like he didn't get his jelly doughnut in between innings. Cujo
Torre removed Lowe after allowing 2 runs on 74 pitches, 6 hits and a walk in just five innings -- and it wasn't to be pinch hit for.Anyone else kinda confused by this move?

It's the playoffs so I doubt you will hear much. Anyways the Dodger offense is doing what it needs to do to try and put it away early. 5-3 now with 0 out is the 6th and runners at 2nd and 3rd. Sorry guys, but amongst all of your 7,000 championships in the 2000's, you lost that right. So the Yankees it was 3-0 and last year it was the Indians 3-1. Look how much of a fan you are. Seriously though, people who are giving up can speak for themselves, but is that really all you can take away from any negative performance-based comment? (No, I'm not assuming you're referring to me, but I know in part you wanted me to respond, so here you are) That just cause the Sox won last year all I am allowed to opine about their current performance is "Yay, peachy happy times!" even when they get blown out in a home playoff game to the perennial cellar dwellars? "Patriots won a championship 3 1/2 years ago, and hell, the Celtics won this past year, so even though Brady's out and the team sucks, 'sall good!" I'm sure Giants fans are overjoyed about tonight's performance because they won a Super Bowl 8 months ago.Holy man. I hope you don't really feel that way. I'm sorry, it just makes no sense.By your logic, give me one good reason why the I should even watch? What did Stairs do? I can see it's 7-5. BBTV
Matt Stairs - probably the oldest looking 40 year old I've ever seen, but goddam do I love him right now. One more win, and we're partying like it's Nineteen Ninety NineThree - and painting a white flag blue.
