I think the $awks are just going to have to sit on Lowell for a minute, but either way, they'll be fine. If they can't trade him, he'll either be hurt or in their lineup, but if not, they have Youk and Casey Kotchman. They'll be okay. Either that, or they'll just go buy someone else.
