Maybe switch the blues on the 4th, and change the striping. I personally like this but the majority says no.

2012: An alternate jersey is released. It is light blue with a circular crest. As you may notice, this isn't much of a trend in this series, so keep that in mind before you go comparing it to Columbus/Pittsburgh/Florida/whatever.

Tell that to ANA, CHI, FLA, MIN, PHX, PIT, and STL (circle logos) and ATL, COL, FLA, NSH, and PIT (light blue)

Yeah, that's in the NHL right now, though. How many of those are in Bmac's current series? There's a difference.

No, that was from Bmac's series!

Wow that light blue is solid. And I'm NOT a fan of the use of double-blues. Or the Leafs.

I honestly don't understand your post at all.

I honestly don't understand your post at all.

What he means is that those conventions are still conventions in this series if you look back at them.

Yes, all those teams that use those logos/colours now, continue to use them in Bmac's series- just in different forms.

The Maple Leafs power blue Alts are wonderful - what a nice concept. Great job! (**)

Here is another idea I had put together for the Leafs:

MapleLeafsAlt4.png

It is a heritage jersey, taking an aspect from each of the eras.

Much better. I almost wonder what the inverted colour shoulder patch would look like on that jersey (almost like the thirds, but without the words on the Leaf)

Just want to bump this back to the first page. Can't let the best concept series on here slip down.

Vancouver Canucks

2011: New home and road uniforms for the Canucks. The design is similar to that of the 3rd jersey, and the classic stick-in-rink logo takes over. Seeing as the 3rd jersey basically becomes the home jersey, a new alternate jersey is also introduced. It is navy, featuring the full-body Johnny Canuck logo. A plaid design is featured on the end of the sleeves and hem, resembling the flannel shirt worn by the old Johnny Canuck.

2012: A green alternate jersey is unveiled. It uses the same design as the team's early sweaters, and an old VC logo that was never used is featured as the crest.

The Canucks look good! I like that you used the stick-in-rink, and the plaid on the blue alt is really sweet.

No Johnny Canuck V? I know a lot of Canucks fans who prefer that to the skating Johnny.

Nice job on the 4th jersey. Having a plaid alt isn't a bad idea. It's just that as it is right now, I'm not too crazy about it.

As for the plaid, I think it would be cool in the blue stripes of the fourth jersey. Like Nashville's checkers.
