STL FANATIC
You won in spite of it.This doesn't make Niemi a legitimate goalie. We don't have to have the discussion now. You should be enjoying this. But this doesn't make Niemi a legitimate goalie.(Legitimate should really be replaced with good. I don't know what legitimate means in this context. The_Admiral
It doesn't feel real yet. It might not feel real on Friday at the parade. It might never. Never would have thought it.It's amazing how quickly that team rose to the top once Dollar Bill kicked the bucket. This has me thinking about what could've been if he hadn't have been...well, Dollar Bill. Because wow, this team went from complete joke to Stanley Cup champs 2 3/4 years. Congrats to all of the Blackhawks fans. I don't blame anybody that dropped that team during the Dollar Bill era, only to jump back on once the Hawks started winning again, because that had to have been hell for a fan to go through. But for anybody who actually stuck around through all that muck, I hope you celebrate this like crazy. Once again, congrats to the Blackhawks and their fans! Discrim
Very happy for Marian Hossa! It looked like Patrick Kane was the only one celebrating and the rest of the players kind of took their cue from him.Kane knew it all along.one thing I know, the Flyers' collective "WTF?" vibe was priceless...I know I was screamin "holy that went in!?!?" Ahhh, that was the game where Nashville had them on the ropes, then their PP (?!) basically gave the Hawks the series win. I'd imagine that tastes like cyanide right now.
