See Red
Interesting. I thought the Rangers were done for after game one the way some of ya'll were talking about 'em. 1-1 and Cliff Lee hasn't pitched yet? Can't be feeling too bad if you're Texas. But I guess on the other side of it, 1-1 with how bad the Yankees starting pitching has been? Ehhh...
mania
1-1 with the next game featuring Cliff Lee, the game after that being started by A.J. Burnett... when Tank said the series might not return to Arlington, he might have had a point... just not in the way he intended. vicfurth
Rangers were up 7-2, I said:"I will not get excited until it says 'final'."Now, honestly, I'm more relieved than excited. I dreaded a beatdown, another Ranger loss, and some hippie Yankee fan I know saying 'can't we all just get along and enjoy the games'. That or questioning my dignity because I suggested that the Rangers gifted the game yesterday. Regardless, I'll take a split. Now if only the Cowboys will actually, you know, show up tomorrow. I am very impressed by the way the Rangers go up off the mats and pounded the Yankees today. Now they just need to do it three more times.

Viper
So much for "the greatest pitching matchup in NLCS history" (as Fox Sports ads had been hyping tonight's game).

UnclearInitial
with how bad sabathia and hughes have been, does it matter that burnett is pitching game 4?
FiddySicks
Minus the two homers given up, Lincecum and the Giants played about as good as I could have hoped for. Cody Ross is my new hero. Thank you Marlins. I also hope Pat Burrell keeps up his grudge (vengeful or not, he's out to prove something) against his former team. And nothing is better than seeing pictures like this after a big win like the Giants had tonight. As Snoop once said, unfadeable so please don't try to fade this. What a series this is gonna be. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) infrared41
Yankees lose. Phillies lose. It will be a great season if I can post that just three more times. All in all a pretty good day of postseason baseball. Let's go Giants and Rangers.

Let's all pull for a Giants-Rangers series!I wouldn't mind a Yankees vs. Giants or Phillies vs. Rangers World Series. I love the hero vs. villain type theme. As long as I don't have to listen to Joe Buck and Tim McCarver jabber on about the star-studded, best World Series EVAR Yankees vs. Phillies matchup, I'm good. PurpleRush
Funny, I don't think of the Phillies as the villains, and they are the only Philadelphia team I don't mind winning.Perhaps it's because I loved the maroon/blue unis of the 70s growing up. I'd never even think of grouping you with some of the guys who overreact and acted like the Rangers would lie down and get swept after that game one loss.
