The Brewers beat the "Big Boys" awwwww boo freaking hoo! FINALLY my favorite team has one of the BEST rotations the NL! If not the whole league!!! With Rickie, Braun, Fielder, and McGehee popping the runs and those guys shutting it down this feels awesome for me!!! Can't wait till pitchers and catchers report!

Um, no it doesn't. You got closer/on par with the Reds and Cards rotations. If history doesn't repeat itself and people stay healthy, the Phillies could have a :censored:ty offense and win 90 games, with a good offense probably 110. As far as the Reds go, if they let Leake go the whole season and everyone stays healthy for once, I can see 90-95 wins. Hopefully the experience gained this year turns into at least one playoff game win next year.

More than life in prison? That sounds like something willmorris would say.

The max is life. I think he meant more than 51 years minimum, and I agree.

Drank and drove, killed 3 people. Yeah I agree with Bucfan.

Drank and drove, killed three people, AND fled the scene. Yup, definitely should've been more time. Maybe I feel so strongly about this because I was at that particular series and watched Aidenhardt toss, and have such strong feelings about drinking and driving, but the combination of all three of those offenses merit a life sentence IMO.

If 51 years isn't enough to teach someone a lesson, then the teachers suck. I never studied criminology, and there may very well be a lot of research and proven facts that I'm ignorant to, but is there really a difference between 10 years and 50 years? If anything, if you know you have a reasonable shot at getting another chance, wouldn't you be more likely to actually reform rather than if you know you're just in there forever and have to start a whole new life as a "professional inmate"? Not trying to stir up a whole off-topic discussion, can be discussed in lounge or somewhere else if necessary.

Former Cubs and Braves 1B, Derrek Lee, is now a member of the Baltimore Orioles.

If this were 2005, Orioles fans would have reason to say more than, "who gives a :censored: anymore?"

Lee was actually the 1B I wanted for the offseason. I'm shocked the Orioles were able to pull it off. It looked like they were going to get stuck in an awful contract with LaRoche. I think Lee makes a solid stopgap with a good chance at a bounceback year. It will be an interesting season. Lee, Reynolds, and Hardy are all solid additions, but none of them are game changers. Alot will depend on the young pitching, but I think a winning record is possible this year. But I'm not getting my hopes up after the disaster that was 2010.

I would have liked to see him end up on a series contender, but I can only wish the best for D-Lee. Baltimore should love him

I guess I should have said: "Baltimore would love him, as long as it were 5 years ago."
