kestrel79
looks like the Terps will use gradient numbers..Gradient numbers? Aye...does not look good in game...I hope they look better in real life. Also I dont' know about the random yellow bars on the sides either.

UnclearInitial
In Idaho's defense, black is a part of their color scheme.FIU is navy blue and gold...so black should have never entered the picture. Actually, black is an unofficial color. They have the same colors as Colorado, silver and gold.

carlosgg6
I really like the way they use the "turtle shell" pattern in the shoulders. Now, just wait for the "real" pants Im from Costa Rica...so i dont have a huge english level...understand me
elliott
If those are the same pants depicted in the mockup in the Maryland thread, then they actually do have striping, it's just located near the back of the leg so you can't see it here. I think this is a sideways movement from an over-piped move to a too-modern, unnecessarily gradiented jersey. If those helmets get scrapped it will be much better, the black-white-red-white-black stripe still matches nothing. I like the turtle shell, but I've personally never been a fan of Under Armours creations and this is no exception. They consistently make jerseys that are too busy and overdesigned. Dribbble ... BigDmo
It was still officially added therefore by everyone's reasoning, it is NOT BFBSIt was added to the athletic color pallette (not the official school one) and it doesn't in any way compliment the original colors (which were also kept) and it was only done to look cool and sell merchandise.Okay so why do schools have athletic style guides then if they aren't supposed to represent the colors in that style guide?I'm thinking CCSLC should write a strongly worded letter to all of the schools around the nation to dump this whole separating the athletics from the school crap so everything is UNIFORM and schools have to abide by their colors, because boy howdy am I getting confused out there when these teams are bustin out these odd colored uniforms. Not to mention they fail to represent their school despite carrying the name, logo, and everything else associated with it.

There is a difference. Some teams use shades darker than the school colors or add trim colors that are not considered "university colors", but are only specific to the athletic squads. However the argument is, if it isn't a school color, no matter what if the athletic department adds it as an OFFICIAL color, it's still BFBS because it isn't a SCHOOL color. Therefore the athletic style guide doesn't matter when deciding BFBS.

Therefore the athletic style guide doesn't matter when deciding BFBS.That isn't the argument at all. The argument is that when a school adds black (whether it be an official athletic color or not) just for the sake of merchandise sales, or as you put it "looking tough", then it is considered BFBS. rams80
Why is black picked on so much?Because its the color that gets added as a throw in the most. Hands down. slapshot
Once again, adding black in ANY case is BFBSNo. You just refuse to understand any of the arguments posted previously. In fact adding any color in any case is that color for that color's sakeWhy is black picked on so much?If it's being added to the color scheme just to look "fierce" or sell more merchandise, then yes. Black is just the offending color in most cases. I also cited navy blue, powder blue, and silver/gray/anthracite as examples. You repeatedly question it when the answer has been dumbed down as much as possible. You just refuse to accept it, as if you feel black is the color that makes everything better.
