It's so much more relevant to their identity than the bird head...and it also takes out the cut-away, meaning the jagged design towards the back of the head on the current logo. I'd love this even more if you replaced navy with black and silver with gold, like their old color scheme. I wanted to go back to the red and yellow the first time, but didn't want to make a huge change right off the bat. But here are a few options I put together, let me know what one you think is best. Milo Meningocele Posted May 13, 2011 Share Posted May 13, 2011 I say the top left is definitely best. But I'd tilt the head to look a tiny bit more upward, as in the old Hawks logo. To also stay more faithful to the old logo, I'd lose the basketball, and leave the left/neck side open. And definitely thin out that black circle, or at least make some of it gold.
