So the article states that there is a Trent Richardson signed BCS jersey on the wall.

Where? Trent paid for his own hibachi meal. Deal with it.

It's who he was with that makes this pictures suspicious.

It's a picture, of course it is suspicious and everyone is going to make accusations but it doesn't prove that he paid for Trent's meal. Just pointing that out.

Oh definitely. I was telling NEW.ERA why people think this picture is suspicious. Even though I dislike Alabama, in my mind, they are innocent until proven guilty.

If that was Greg McElroy in that picture nobody would be assuming that he didn't pay

Unfortunately, you're probably right. That's what happens when you play in the NFL and make millions. People automatically assume you pay for your own meals.

Joking about what? The original comment was meant to be a sarcastic retort to Glenn52-14's remark about the original picture. Was that what you meant?

I'm sure Glenn knows he is in the NFL, he is pointing out that if McElroy was still in College. And his point is true.

Big T12EN To use a 9-Game Conference Schedule in 2017.

Link.

And in that article, it basically says that Big Ten teams need 7 home games to compete. No, if you're good enough, you play six home and six road like everyone else.

Financially compete dingbat.

And this is news to Indiana. <_<

It's being reported that Texas A&M to the SEC is a done deal. Who is next?

The Big XII centrifuge casts Tech and the Oklahoma schools loose.

...and that was when Terry Hoeppner's vengeful spirit seized control of Kevin Wilson's body.

I like this coach. Indiana needs a fire and brimstone guy to take them to the promised land of multiple bowl games.

Reading rumors that Florida State (big time talk going on there), Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and South Florida.

I don't know how I feel about the situation. I have never disliked Texas A&M, and I like the whole "12th man" tradition...fits in line with our other strong SEC traditions I suppose.

Having a Texas school in the SEC is going to shake up recruiting for sure. No longer can we lure players out of Texas with the "you can play in the SEC" speech. I think Texas A&M can be competitive as well and are at least striking in while their own iron is pretty hot...but they will certainly have to earn it.

Ummm....outside of LSU and Arkansas, that argument wasn't doing SEC teams a lot of good on the recruiting trail. If anything, the conventional wisdom is that this would open Texas up to widespread SEC recruitment.

It seems to have been increasing over the past couple of seasons as the dominance has really set in. While we personally haven't signed many out of Texas, we certainly got a lot more attention from them over the past few seasons- and I know if we have, others probably as well. Texas is simply hard to recruit from outside. Fortunately, Florida exists.
