Broncos will be in orange on Monday Night against the Raiders.

Where did you hear that?

The Broncos have recently always worn their alternate orange jersey for nationally televised home night games. Same applies for the Dolphins. But next year it will be the Broncos primary uniform (at least a version of the current orange alt).

IF ONE IS CONSIDERED RACIST, THEN BOTH MUST BE CONSIDERED RACIST.

BOTTOM LINE: NEITHER ONE IS RACIST.

I know that part, but I hadn't heard an official announcement anywhere. Just seeing if that was the case.

John Elway posted it on Twitter. The Broncos are asking all the fans to wear orange to the game. I heard the news a while back, though I didnt think it was true because I thought that NFL rules prevented teams from wearing alts on national TV.

They are also wearing orange against the Lions.

Can anyone tell me why the Browns are wearing White at home all season? That is the worst idea in the history of the organization.

Mike Holmgren said they are wearing all white at home this season to pay respect to the Paul Brown era Browns. The Browns also wore all white at home frequently during the 80's and early 90's. I love their brown jersey.

Didn't the Browns wear white at home for the infamous Drive game? The Browns in white at home isn't without precedent. That said, I do like the Browns all-white look, but it'd be nice to see the orange pants come back and the brown uniform on a regular basis. Perhaps they wear it in Houston come Nov. 6 or in Indianapolis come Sept. 18, if the Colts wear those blue-helmet throwbacks (which doesn't seem likely).

I believe they did and I know they did most of the 80s and 90s, but that still doesn't change the fact that the Brown jerseys look a lot better than white on white.

I haven't heard anything 'official' on uniform selection for the 2011 season like it has usually been announced by the NFL before the season starts at various websites.

Last year there was a week by week listing BEFORE week 1 showing the complete throwback and alternate uniforms to be worn for weeks 1-17

Same thing in 2009 with the AFL-50 legacy games.

This year .......... they've announced virtually nothing.

I've always said the Skins should play two games each season with burgundy jerseys on gold pants:

1) Home opener

2) Dallas game

(In the event that they are one in the same, as last season, the Eagles or Giants game will also suffice)

The rest should be burgundy on white. The Skins should never wear white at home (even though we won three Super Bowls wearing white at home while Joe Gibbs was here the first time around); reminds me too much of how the Cowboys wear white at home. Anything that reminds me anything about the Cowboys isn't worth imitating.

Not sure they should ever wear white when burgundy and gold are much better options

The Bills with blue pants against KC with their Red would make a great visual on Sunday at Arrowhead. Such a nice contrast of Blue vs Red...and it would remind me of the old days when these teams were AFL rivals.

The blue pants would make their whole look becoming amazing.

...

Oh boy would it ever !!!

Would have been nice to see the Bills have solid red socks with their new unis instead of the striped blue socks.

Actually, more often than not they have worn their horrible blue monochromes for those games. In fact, over the past 6 years or so there have been a few years in which they didn't wear the orange at all.

This J. Wayne Weaver guy really just does not get it.

Too many combinations? Uh...up until he had the team add black pants earlier last decade, they only had two uniform combinations...as much as I liked the black/teal/black (the striped pants version, of course), he should've just stuck with what worked...the '98-'O6 set (with TEAL road numbers). He, like many other team heads, got sucked into the "BLACK IS KEWL!!!!1234" crowd and methodically started picking apart one of the top three contemporary looks in the league at the time. And now what's he got? A natural modern mess. A newfangled modern design completely devoid of gold...a design that didn't even make it through its first season intact, the definition of "EPIC FAIL" if ever there was one. (That's in addition to the sparkly teal-flacked helmet--a cool idea on its own--and flat matte black pants.) All that is to say nothing of the Jekyll-and-Hyde on-field look...teal/white at home, white/black with nary a trace of teal on the road (which I suppose fits the team's Jekyll-and-Hyde on-field play, as well). Whoever told the Jaguars that would look good straight-up lied to them.

Now someone correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Nike come up with, or at least have a hand in, the Jags' last set of numbers? If so, I guess the only saving grace that team has is that Nike opts--and Weaver allows--to switch completely back to, if not the whole previous set, at least the previous numbers. That team just needs to admit defeat, fess up that they jacked up...and go back to what worked so well for them for the relatively short time that it did.

(And all this comes from an actual Jaguar fan.)

I pretty much agree with you on all counts.

A Jaguar is an amazing looking carnivore rarely seen but magnificent looking. They could have done so much more even at their start but they have constantly ruined their uniform sets, step by step since their inception. Either their primary color is teal or it's not ... amazing what that have done.

They're stuck with what they got for awhile now ... they can't change yet again. Weaver's brain is fried, and whoever else has been making these uniform and logo decisions. In just 16 years they're on their 3rd or 4th word-mark ... Who the fupp changes a word-mark that often, it's crazy!!

I liked when the alternate Jaguar logo was on the sleeve during the Tony Bosselli era. Why they never tried the teal road pants always puzzled me.

Working with half of the old alternate logo would look better then the current Jaguar-head logo for their helmets IMO ... It would give the full Jaguar effect whereas the head doesn't. It could pass for a snake-head or other creature from a distance. (and a teal colored tongue)??

jaguars are wearing white on white for the first time in the new set.Wayne Weaver said one of the main reasons for the uniform changes were because they had too many combinations. They were going to always wear teal jerseys white pants at home white jersey black pants on the road. 3rd season in they go white on white. Time to go back to the old uniforms.

This team needs to pick an identity and STAY WITH IT. Maybe if they had come up with some unique uniforms right from the beginning (like their feline brethren in Carolina, who have only changed their socks and added an alternate jersey since 1995) they wouldn't have this problem. Tweaking your uniform every 2-3 years hardly builds an identity.

The teal jersey set is easily associated with the team, but their road unis have resembled about 10 other teams at various times. I say change the helmet to teal, and wear teal pants with the white jerseys. But who cares, they'll be in Los Angeles in a few years and have to change again anyway. :)

Why don't they just stop pretending that navy jerseys are an appropriate look for the Broncos and go back to Orange? Same goes for the Chargers...go back to powder blues full time and ditch the navy. There are only a few teams that can rightfully stake claim to the color navy in their color scheme, the Bears are one of them. Thankfully the Bills learned their evil ways and went back to where they belong. Hopefully the Broncos and Chargers will follow suit. Of course I'm being a bit sarcastic, but to be honest I'm really not. The whole NFNS needs to go away. Embrace your original blues people!!!! don't be afraid to go back down the color scale back to the lighter side of blue. I'm also looking at YOU Cowboys! Step away from the navy and go back to the Dark Royal blue!
