5 things I NEVER want to see...

- The Blue Jays even touching their set. For as long as they exist, they should keep it as is.

- Steve Yzerman influencing another team's rebrand.

- The Penguins to continue throwing back to the 60s and 70s. Why are they paying homage to irrelevant teams and dark years instead of the Stanley Cup Lemieux/Jagr years?

- The Oilers or Islanders trying out new designs again. You look perfect as is. Your sets are classic, but not dated. Don't screw around with it.

- Teams TBTC to years before they even existed.

I thought red white and blue were more stereotypical of Texas teams.

"Stereotypical Texas" as in:

- This

- This

- This

or

- This

In other words, "dead desert colors".

As for our teams, the Texans, Rangers, and FC Dallas has red/white/blue.

Then there's the Cowboys and Mavs with blue and silver

Rockets with red and silver (and yellow, unofficially).

Spurs with Black and silver

Astros with brick, sand(?), and black

Dynamo with bright orange and light blue

And the Stars with green, gold, and black.

I'd want to keep it as is.

1. Any Pro Combat looks.

2. College teams wearing uniforms that don't use school colors.

3. Anything Oregon wears.

4. Toilet seat collars because of flywires

5. Seahawk unitards.

Hmmmm.... looks like NIKE went 5 for 5. Nicely done, Nike, way to ruin sports.

In their defense the unitards were a reebok thing first.

I wouldn't object to powder blue road uniforms instead of gray, to be honest - that's the one tweak I'd make.

Completely disagree. Both teams look horribly dated now, especially the Oilers. Other than the use of the most overused color in sports (navy), there was nothing wrong with either of these:

1. Matte Black Helmets With Black Decals

2. The Cowgirls Still Having that Ugly Greenish Tint to Their Pants

3. The Ugly Nike Collars (Why couldn't they do what the texans did?)

4. Navy added to the Dolphins palette Next Season (Pray to god it never happens)

5. No More UGLY two colored facemasks (kinda pointless to me)

There was plenty wrong with them. Both teams had great classic looks that never should have been changed.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

The Oilers jersey you posted looks great but that Islanders one is atrocious. The generic four line shoulder patch (putting the lines on the hockey stick in the current logo is much better way to pay homage to the dynasty), the phantom yoke and worst of all the unnecessary clutter of the front numbers.

I love that Oilers look, that color scheme was criminally misused. Could have done some great things with that copper and red. What I want to stop seeing is teams using a past look as a crutch for future design going forward. I hate that the Oilers switched back to those garish monstrosities.

And of course, let's boot vintage white, circle logos (especially on double blue jerseys), and nickname jerseys (Bolts).

-Another RWB team in MLB

-Side panels and Bettman stripes on NHL jerseys

-TATC

-BFBS jerseys

-The Lakers switch to white home jerseys (same for Sweden's hockey jerseys)

This is an amazing list. I agree with it 100%.

TATC?

Turn ahead the clock.

That's my problem (along with everyone else) with all of them. By not completing the collar it makes it 1 billion times sillier looking.

Ahh, gotcha. Turn Ahead the Clock would be a neat concept if it was done right. What the MLB did however was an utter disgrace.
