Country music and hockey seems strange to me. I suppose it works for the preds but it just seem a bit jarring to see hockey played to country.

I love the country theme and mix. It really represents of what Nashville is all about, and the fans love it too. It's no different than other arena's playing Top 40's & rap. People in other cities like other music, people in Nashville, Carolina, Georgia, Parts of florida, Alabama like country music.

BigMac's posts make me want to punch babies.

Hockey is weird and I love it.

Good time to hit stride I guess. Howard is gonna carry this team if they make it out of this round.

That ending though... It'll be interesting to see if that's Chicago losing their composure. Sure as hell felt like it.

I hate Datsyuk more than any other player in hockey.

I roll my eyes whenever people fawn over him like he's some sort of hockey god.

Hockey God, no...

Damn good and one of the best in the game currently... you bet

Why is it when I read one of your posts it's about "I hate Red Wings gggrrrrrr!!!!!"? We get it you hate Detroit. Not our fault the Sabres haven't won anything, but the obsession my goodness

The West appears wide open at this point.

And the East isn't?*

*assuming the Rangers don't play anemically at Madison Square Garden

The Hawks up until this series looked head and shoulders above the other teams in the conference. Now, they look beatable the last couple of games.

I loved Zetterberg's response when asked after the game if the Red Wings were playing more cohesive than they have earlier in the season.

"What exactly does cohesive mean?"

No, I know that. This Chicago-Detroit series has been really indicative of how both teams actually matched up this season, from the physical checks (the hit on Franzen which led to Patrick Kane's goal) to all the shootout finishes. If people thought that this series was a Blackhawks cakewalk because the Wings were the West's #7, then they made a tragic mistake. I would definitely be afraid of Detroit's play right now.

Back to my original post, I was implying that the East's bracket (sans a Rangers letdown tomorrow) is also a toss up. Ah, the randomness of the NHL postseason.

I mean if I was a Sabres fan, I'd probably have a hard time getting a grip on reality, too.

That's kind of sad. Remember that time the Canucks won a playoff game this year? Oh wait.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)
