I believe ATL will actually have a hard time getting into the playoffs. The bobcats seem to be the second best team in the division. I also had trouble with the bottom 3 for the central. DET and the Cavs have improved and seem to be slightly better than MIL. Finally, I realize I put 4 southwestern teams in the playoffs. It was either gonna be N'Orleans or Minnesota for the eight seed out west.

One extra prediction: I think Toronto will get the 1st overall pick and draft Wiggins, while Utah gets the 2nd overall pick and drafts Parker.

Parker seems to be someone who will not be a one season NCAA player. He has more value if he remains in college (possibly take his mission) and declare when he knows he will be the #1 pick.

I'd be surprised if Parker stayed more than one year. And I think his best shot at going #1 was if Wiggins never reclassified.

Yes it may seems like all i'm doing is picking Cavs but I think they all have a legitimate chance in the respective categories (Mike Brown may be a long shot)

And I'll just throw out that the Celtics get Wiggins, Jazz get Parker

Going out on a limb with some of my playoff predictions, but each season is different and I don't want to be one of those guys that goes with a repeat of last year. Plus, I love going out on a limb.

That being said, WOW the East is awful this year. Some are really down on teams like Denver and Milwaukee this year, but I'm pretty bullish on them. I don't think the Bucks will make the playoffs, but they'll be better than expected, especially with most of their games coming against hapless Eastern Conference teams. The Central Division is very strong with two elite teams in Chicago and Indiana, two huge improving teams with Cleveland and Detroit, and then the Bucks.

Overall, the East is tankapalooza.

The West is tricky for me. So many elite teams (SA, OKC, LAC, GS, potentially HOU if they can get it going right away), as well as plenty of other great sides like Denver, Memphis, Minnesota and maybe Dallas or Portland if they can get it together. This season should actually be pretty interesting.

What's with all the love the Wizards are getting? Did I miss something? Did they just trade for Kobe?

the East is extremely bad this year. The balance of power is terrible. I'm guessing they finish about 35-47 and barely squeek into the playoffs. And Wall, Beal, Porter, Nene and okafor is a pretty good core.
