Jimmy!
The only fans who would never, ever cut any slack to another fan base are those who saw their team relocated, and the team does wonders in the relocated city. There are original Rams fans in Los Angeles who will never show an ounce of sympathy to St. Louis fans, despite the amount of suck the team can do for the next 500 years. I'd figure the same goes in the case of Cleveland fans showing signs of sympathy towards Ravens fans, or Seattle Supersonics fans toward people from Oklahoma City. The ONLY fans? Team dislike/hatred is not limited to relocation, my friend.Considering that Adrian Peterson is on the cover of "Madden NFL 25" for the next-gen consoles (PS4, XBOX One), is this another instance of the "Madden Curse" in play?I think it's more of a curse on the team than it is for Peterson. They had a graphic pregame that shown he was actually doing better this year compared to lastEDIT: didn't realize he only had 28 yards last night. Maybe the curse starts now?Or maybe the Giants clued in that they were playing a team with the 24th ranked passing attack in the league and not much for a QB. STL FANATIC
Is it just me or are injuries in the NFL at an all-time high this season? I feel like it's an epidemic (well, aside from the Bucs literal epidemic). Then again I just watched half the Bears roster go down today, so maybe it IS just me.I'll answer your question, me!There are as of today 185 players on injured reserve through only 7 weeks of play and that list will grow over the next couple days as Doug Martin and others get officially diagnosed. I have no idea how that translates from past years, but I feel like it's running rampant more than usual.WINNERS:MOST PLAYERS LOST FOR THE 2013 SEASON: Carolina Panthers, 10 players on IRLONGEST INJURY REPORT THROUGH 7 GAMES: Tied - Green Bay Packers & Tampa Bay Bucs with 20 players on each report, respectively.Where'd you get those stats from? I've been looking for accurate/detailed injury stats like that. JUSTIN STRIEBEL | PORTFOLIO | RESUME | CONTACT

OnWis97
Mr. Inaccurate Josh Freeman will start Sunday Night again for the Vikes. Are the Vikings Tanking for Teddy? It's really the only explanation. The Vikes actually would have had an outside shot of winning on Monday had they played Ponder (Cassel is injured). Freeman is clearly not ready and if the coaching staff somehow did not realize that coming in then they should have figured it out quickly. It's got to be that or some obsession with sending the message that the Ponder experiment failed. There's no way they beat Green Bay regardless of QB, but it would be nice not to be as embarrassed as we were last week. LAWeaver
According to ESPN'S Adam Schefter, The Rams reached out to Brett Favre to come out of retirement. Favre Declined the offer. NJTank
Oh that would have been sweet Favre and Tebow both joining the Rams at the same time, I think Rams80's head would have exploded as Skip Bayless was so excited he imploded. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com
FiddySicks
If Greg Schiano makes it out of this game with his job there's seriously something wrong with this team's owners. This is downright pathetic. It appears to me that the Buccaneers have quit on Coach Greg Schiano, they may not win a game until he is fired. With a ten day break it may be a good idea to do that now. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

Kramerica Industries
Maybe it was, but you'll have to forgive me if losing by 30+ points week in and week out, against mediocre teams like Carolina and Jacksonville, felt more like a three-month long thing than a one-month long thing. They gave up a team record 494 points that year, and it's not like the Bucs are a bastion of prolonged success in NFL history. But, yeah, I'm kind of glad I didn't get too suckered in this year. Many thought the Bucs had a chance to be really good this year, others thought they would suck; I just went 8-8 to split the difference. Instead, they'll get a high draft pick again and probably draft the wrong player, or draft a QB and end up getting a bust out of that spot because the Bucs haven't drafted a good QB (during their time in TB) in their entire damn history. Josh Freeman may have really set a new low for himself on MNF this past week. I'd still rather he be in Tampa Bay than any of the personnel running the team in any way, shape, or form. What a bunch of clowns. There's a reason why, once 2013 is over, their last playoff victory to date will still be 1/26/2003. I can't see that changing any time soon. NJTank
There is no choice in Tampa, Schiano must be fired on Friday, he is one of the worst NFL coaches I have ever seen. He goes for it deep in his own territory and then attempts a Field Goal down 31-13 in the last two minutes, he just does not understand the pro game.Whoever's in control of the cannons at JR Stadium must be sauced! Lights Out
Actually, at this point, the Bucs are probably better off keeping Schiano for the rest of the year so they can bottom out and get that 1st overall pick, and then firing him immediately after their last game.
