NFL '13 SEASON THREAD

Can we give it a rest with the Peyton, outdoor/cold weather shtick already? I think he's shown he's beyond that at this point.

May be outdated, but I still wouldn't trust him in a blizzard.

But whatever, it's not like my opinion matters anyway.

With both these teams beating the crap out of each other, those in Denver are creaming their pants at those Super Bowl odds.

I wouldn't have phrased it the same way, but yeah, the Broncos' offense looked dominant today compared to both of these teams. On the other hand, the Patriots' defense isn't anywhere near the level of these two teams. Plus, SB48 will be outdoors and Peyton's always iffy in big games. So...

Denver's defense also still can't be trusted. They nearly blew it in the 4th against San Diego when Whiz finally opened up the playbook. They got lucky that both the Chargers and Pats have been ravaged by the injury bug.
If not for the onside (which is dumb luck) Denver wins that game handily.

And the Broncos have been just as ravaged by injuries as NE.

San Diego's offense took off the moment Chris Harris got injured. There's something to be said about that.

And talking about SD and NE injuries, well, it's not exactly as if Denver has been a picture of health, of late or this entire season. By this juncture of the NFL season, there isn't a single team left that isn't dealing with some significant injury to a significant player. That's just how football works.

San Diego's offense took off once Whiz started letting Rivers make plays instead of stubbornly sticking to the failed running game.

The Broncos can overcome injuries because they're so stacked on offense. The Chargers and Pats... not so much.

You're wasting your time, Kramerica. You're right of course, but that hardly matters when it comes to Manning and the Broncos around here.

Richard Sherman re-affirms he's the best corner in the NFL.

You can't be the best if you actually run afoul of the league's performance-enhancing drugs testing.

What does Denver need to do to get some credit around here? Good lord, this is almost as bad as Cardinals hate.

Its ridiculous but whatever. Seattle Is a different team outside of Seattle. Ain't no 12th man in Jersey.
