marble21
I like the idea of playoff expansion, only for the reason mentioned by McMarthy. That's a new one. My screen name comes from somebody once misspelling my surname McMarble instead of McArdle. To add to the discussion; an expanded playoff system would only increase the chances of a 7-9 team becoming Super Bowl champions one day. I saw an article about him a few weeks back. On a somewhat related note, I'm finding that Seahawks have one of the more obnoxious fanbases out there -- although the Seahawks fans that I can think of on this forum don't really fit into that mold. I can't wait until they have to pay Russell Wilson and Richard Sherman, can't afford to surround them with as much talent as they have, and fade back into mediocrity so I don't have to listen to this 12th man talk anymore. It's kind of unfortunate because they have a lot of pieces that I would ordinarily cheer for -- Wilson, Lynch, Sherman, Earl Wilson.

Kramerica Industries
I feel like Andre Reed going in over Marvin Harrison is kind of a sympathy "Reed should've been in for quite some time" sort of deal. Harrison's day will come, and all will be good. Obviously glad for Derrick Brooks, and glad for Michael Strahan.

Dalcowboyfan92
Andre Reed is an alma mater of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania (the school I currently go to). They have his face adorning the front page of the school's website. It's good for Andre Reed, it was only a matter of time. Tim Brown getting in last year I think uncorks the plug for all these great WRs (Reed, Harrison, etc.) and I think Marvin Harrison will get in next year.Congrats to all the HOFers this year; you've all achieved the NFL's greatest honor. BBTV
Is it me or is the NFL HOF the easiest one to get in to? They seem to put a ton of guys in every year, as opposed to MLB, who I think has had years that nobody got in. They seem to put a ton of guys in every year, as opposed to MLB, who I think has had years that nobody got in.One reason more NFL players get in could be because there are more football players than baseball players. 24 starters in football (including STs) versus 10-12 in baseball. Not saying that's the absolute reason, but there's probably some correlation. To echo Kramerica's point too...the football HOF isn't held back by douchebag writers. rams80
Also the football Hall of Fame mandates a minimum number of enshrinees per year.
