I remember Mike Hart in the 2007 2008 Capital One Bowl for Michigan. He had, like, one fumble his entire career, and he fumbled twice in that game.

Running backs are weird.

That's true. I was excited for the Montee Ball pick because I was happy we were getting a running back that could protect the ball. Welp... we see how that went.

Pryor impressed me tonight. Game wasn't as close as the final suggests it was, but he made some nice plays.

The Broncos were lucky not to have blown this game.

Umm, what?

Lesson 1: Don't ever quote/respond/interact with The Goo. Goo's a quality example of a troll who doesn't know how to troll and probably doesn't have english as a first language. Let The Goo fade into the background and hopefully dissipate into a harmless steam, never to be remembered.

That's insane. The only reason the Raiders were able to move the ball towards the end of the game was because the Broncos were playing to avoid giving up quick scores. The game was never even close to being in question, even with the Broncos fumbles.

Good Lord is right, masocts for kids are not supposed to cause nightmares.

Move over Dandy Yankee you have company for the worst mascot ever.

Dandy Yankee lasted less than a year. I think Raider Rusher may catch a shiv on his first trip into the Black Hole.

Could have something to do with getting tackled by NFL defenders as opposed to college players.

Freeman benched.

When you've played three games for a team with some high pre-season expectations, and a team that has only allowed 57 points in three games (19.0 PPG allowed is pretty good in today's NFL), but you're 0-3 and not having had a single game with a completion percentage of even 50% (43-94 on the season), then it's really hard to disagree with this benching him.

At the same rate, Greg Schiano being an overall loon and basically waging war with Josh Freeman throughout this whole process didn't help anything, at all.

I think its time for Roger Goodell to go, he may be an even worse commissioner than Gary Bettman for this plan.

http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-Sports/2013/09/23/NFL-18-Games-Players-Can-Only-Play-16

The NFL is reportedly pushing for an 18-game regular season in which each player would only be allowed to play in 16 games.

According to ProFootballTalk a league source said "the NFL quietly has resumed its push to persuade the NFLPA to expand the regular-season to 18 games" even though "players consistently have declined to agree to an expanded regular season."

The outlet notes that "while the NFL still has the ability to unilaterally slash the preseason in half, which at one point was viewed as the leverage necessary to persuade the NFLPA to agree to add those two games to the regular season, the league is unlikely to do that" because "stadium lease agreements typically require at least 10 games per year." Currently, NFL teams play eight home games in the regular season and two home games in the preseason.

As ProFootballTalk noted, "though a union source has described the possibility of an 18-game season with a 16-game limit per player as 'fascinating,' many fans would disagree" "loudly," especially fantasy football players.

The NFL is also seeking to expand the regular season as the league puts more of an emphasis on player safety.

I can't believe I'm saying this considering how amazingly asinine the entire Goodell tenure has been, but that's got to be the dumbest decision yet.

What would happen is that there'd be a league wide boycott of the first 2 games. Wouldn't surprise me at all if teams took knees or made unwritten rules to force games into OT and let time expire.

How in the hell would having an 18 game season and having the players play 16 of them make sense?

If you're going to do 18 games, then do 18 games!

Also, IMO, the first source is a tad bit dubious in my eyes. Thankfully, there's a far more reliable source involved.
