Tigers6884
Maybe we should have a thread for PhantoDreamer to spout his crazy ideas and let him pretend like we care, even though none of us will or want to read such thread.
kewp80
I mean, obviously it's a superstition thing for him now. Never really got it (to this day my mom refuses to watch North Carolina basketball for this reason), but I get it. He's probably been wearing his star and trident hat for 30 years now and every time they have a good season his superstitious mind goes to the hat, jersey, pullover, whatever.Yeah he's lost his mind Cardinals -- Rams -- Blues -- Tigers -- Liverpool Check out my music! Seadragon76
Hey, I'm just happy that the Mariners have clinched a winning season, which last happened in 2009. A playoff berth would be gravy at this point.

FiddySicks
I've been to a handful of Mariners games since moving out here. The current logo and uniforms are overwhelmingly worn by the fans in the stands. Nobody really wants to move back to the trident fulltime except for this troll on these boards. Compare that with the Milwaukee Brewers game I went to where more than half the crowd was in the blue and yellow ball in glove apparel. I think the worst part about his love for that set isn't even that he wants them to downgrade from their current colors to their previous colors. It's the fact that of the trident logos they used to have, he wants to bring back the WORST one. If the M's were to downgrade to their old colors and logos, but used the simple yellow trident with a white outline on an all royal cap, I'd be annoyed, but I'd eventually get over it. That look is actually pretty solid. But no. He wants them to switch to their awful M Star trident, which is BY FAR the worst logo they've ever used. PhantomDreamer
Phillies beat the A's and the Mariners enter their game against the Astros tied for the 2nd A.L. wild card spot and 1/2 game behind the Athletics.
