Going back to red and yellow would work IMO. The 'Pacman' logo is awesome though. Brings back memories of when I first started watching basketball and honestly my first thought was 'Pac-man'. Going back to red and yellow (without black) would be great, especially if they go the fauxback route (which this logo certainly indicates). Brave-Bird 08 Posted May 1, 2014 Share Posted May 1, 2014 I have a feeling they'll be replacing the 'Aa' Hawks logo (as I like to call it in text) to the modern Pac-logo. I've always thought the other one was a clever design, but a little too elongated, plus I often wear my hat with that logo on it in public and get asked, "What team is that?" ... IN ATLANTA. Because it's a secondary and the regular flying Hawk is still the primary, a lot of people who don't pay attention still don't recognize the logo unveiled in 2007. This one is more iconic...I'm hoping this means, at the least, a uniform redesign. I'd cry if they went back to the old colors, but I doubt it. Dark red and yellow, random swooshes of color, tilted numbersIt doesn't have to be a direct throwback, but if it's a modern update inspired by these they'd instantly be my favorite uniforms in the NBA. navy blue and red have never felt right for the Hawks. I think it's just a minimalist alt logo that will go along with the current scheme. But that's just my gut...I know nuthin. Something leads me to believe that if they were going to keep the current colors, there would be a blue outline around the pac logo. Falcons. UGA. Hawks. Braves. Tottenham Hotspur.
