How can anyone rip on these uniforms with the atrocities this game has provided in the past? All the terrible star uniforms and one color shoulder uniforms.

This is the best uniform set to ever be featured at the Pro Bowl. I just wish they'd do away with wearing their normal helmets for this game and get some that match the uniforms.

No the helmets it the only way you can tell what team they played on.

Not true at all. They can keep team logos on the sleeves just like it is now.

Its easier with the helmet versus the tiny logos that are on the ever shrinking sleeves

I actually really like the gray uniforms. The volt socks and numbers really pop on them. The white uniforms aren't quite as good but still look decent. My favorite part really like the chrome logos on the shoulders on both teams. It looks really well done

Last year, people complained that the Pro Bowl uniforms were too conservative and that Nike should've gone all out. Now when Nike goes all out, there is even more complaining.

In the end, the uniforms and the format changes have brought the most talk about the Pro Bowl in a while. This is the first time I've ever sat down and watched it, at least.

Plus, there is the new NFL rule that players can't change helmets throughout the year. Why would they abandon the rule for the Pro Bowl?

Not to mention it's damn entertaining. I am invested in this game for the first time in my life

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that Sunday's game is a match-up of NIKE's two definitive NFL designs: The first original design they did for the league 17 years ago, and the one overhaul they did to re-enter the league 15 years later. So I think if you look at it in terms of logo and uniform innovation and the promotion of an apparel brand, this is a historic matchup in a sense.

These is the worst uniform matchup I've seen in professional sports for me, hands down. I know it's unfair to compare the NFL with, say, the NHL uniform-wise, but I'd say they're at least the worst American football jerseys I've ever seen. The names on the team Rice jerseys appear smudged to me, almost as if they were spray painted on. The numbers look horrible from a distance too. Team Sanders actually has potential, but the whole jersey is ruined by the phantom numbers and the gray being too light. These two uniforms paired together just make this look like two sandlot teams wearing some hand-me-down high school practice uniforms.

Have you ever watched a pro bowl before? These aren't even the worst in the past 10 years. Far from it, imo.

First off, neither of those designs are from the past 10 years. The first is from 2001 & 2002, the bottom one is from 1994, 95 & 96.

Second, that bottom one is, imo, the best Pro Bowl uniforms they've used.

However, I also LOVED last years homage to the originals. I thought that was pretty cool and they looked great.

That top picture is easily my favorite Pro Bowl set ever. Gradients would look ridiculous on a full time set, but they worked so incredibly well on that Pro Bowl set.

I agree. I loved the version shown in the bottom pic. (Look!.. Socks that actually contrast with the pants!) The gradient uniform was a bit overdone, but still preferable to this year's homage to how cool Nike assumes themselves to be. I liked last year's best... gave me some hope that someone still cared about the established aesthetic of what an NFL uniforms should look like.
