I think Slater tried to receive, but he said "we want the kickoff" as in "we want the ball kicked off to us" but the ref took it as it sounded, which sounds like the Pats wanted to kickoff.Then he pointed to a side, which isn't even his choice. There is no need to trade a draft pick for him when have issues at CB, RB, LB, TE (Hanna and Escobar have shown zero improvement) and if Hardy is not resigned DL needs a talent.They can use their high 2nd pick for a QB, because unless they trade down, if Joey Bosa is available with their 1st, they must take him.
