2016 NHL Playoffs, Rite of Spring: "You thought God was an architect"

Kind of rooting for Dallas in this one, only because I think they'd be slightly easier for San Jose, should they advance.

And I base this on absolutely nothing. Just intuition.

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

Well, we saw a 3-0 lead wiped out last night. Let's see if history repeats itself. (Trust me it won't. 4-0 Blues as I'm writing this.)

I highly doubt it, as I'm watching the game right now, and both teams are firing all cylanders... It's not like Pittsburgh relaxing last night. Not to mention that goaltending is the Blues strongpoint right now, and Dallas's weakness, unlike last night, where both goalies have helped their teams all playoffs long.

Hopefully the Sharks do the same to Nashville tomorrow.

Hahahahahahaha they won't.

Does anyone else see the irony of a Sabres fan posting heavily in a playoff thread? Boasting psuedo-knowledge and the uncanny ability to "predict" what's going to happen in each series

That remarkable distance from the playoffs makes us Sabres fans the most objective.

Except in this case; he's terrible.

Let's let them actually choke first before we start to 'ol doom and gloom narrative. We're better than that.

So some food for thought: Blues are 1-2 against San Jose this season. Interesting note there being outscored 9-4 at St. Louis. So yes, this team is strong, but not invincible.

On the other side, Blues have dominated the Preds, going 4-1 in their 5 meetings, though 3 of those games were by one goal. The last meeting was the sole spot of life for Nashville, clobbering the Blues 5-0 that time.

Needless to say, the Gateway to the West would be stupid to root for California tomorrow.

That's it, zeros on the clock. Thank you and good night!

Edit: Kudos to those Dallas fans that stayed around. They've got a lot of heart and a really good hockey club. Lots of mutual respect between these two teams.

Now, Stars fans. Look at tonight. Remember this feeling.

And imagine it happening next year... and the year after... and the year after...

Sigh...
