Part of me really wished that a few NFL teams would do something similar to their helmets to make them stand out more than the standard logo on both sides but the closest I found is the Eagles current helmet and this fan-submitted Chiefs helmet in 1989. So maybe they are following the XFL 1.0 and had these made ahead of the actual uniform designs being completed?
