Like, I get that the o line is completely decimated, but he’s routinely missing his receivers on even some really basic throws. The two interceptions he threw today looked like some rookie qb level stuff. Just duffing passes into the ground or throwing behind his targets. Bucs have used him as their workhorse and he looks like he’s actively falling apart because of it. I mean, it’s not even that surprising. He’s definitely one of the worst QBs I’ve ever seen live. People have said "Brady looks done" done for So many years know, only for him to turn it around and look amazing the following season for so many years now. Maybe he dies retire. But would people really be that shocked if he joined a team like the Raiders, 49ers, or hell even the Lions, and had another Pro Bowl season? You really believe you're going to get that out of Mayfield, Brissett, or Jimmy G? The problem with the Raiders isn't Derek Carr, it's Josh McDaniels. Getting rid of Bisaccia was definitely a mistake, but blaming McDaniels is a cop out answer when they've struggled long before they hired him. 2016 was the only other year the Raider made the playoffs and Carr got hurt and didn't play in that game. He's not hurting the Raiders, but he certainly is not helping them. One way or the other they need to move on from him. Otherwise the Raiders will continue to be stuck in mediocrity, or Worse. The Raiders have been "stuck in mediocrity" since 2003. Carr is the Raiders all-time passing leader. You sure you want to hang all of this on him? And replace him with Baker Mayfield? All due respect, but if there's someone out there who would do a worse job of running that team than Mark Davis has, it just might be you. We'll have to agree to disagree on this one. 2 Quote All roads lead to Dollar General.
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
Put Carr on the Cardinals and that team looks a whole lot different. He reminds me of Carson Palmer, and I mean that as a compliment. 1 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

I mean, if you want the Raiders to stick with a QB who has shown he's at best, been able to squeak into a Wildcard spot for a quick loss, go ahead. I never said Carr is Bad QB (he could definitely be better on another team) but he isn't the guy that's going to take the Raiders anywhere they haven't already. If they end up with a top 10 pick, drafting a QB is probably the smartest move for them. But They're the Raiders so they probably won't. Cujo
Derek Carr is a lot like Andy Dalton: A 2nd round pick turned franchise QB, consistently put up good numbers, made several Pro Bowls, etc etc -- but ultimately you just know he's never gonna be the guy who gets you to a Super Bowl. And look at what happened when the Bengals finally moved on. Just sayin.

You think they should cut him loose and go with someone like Mayfield or Brissett. (Neither of which are as good as Carr) I think the Raiders should ride it out with Carr until there is a clear upgrade available to them. Right now, outside the draft, that upgrade isn't available to them. We both agree that he's not the QB that will get Raiders to the Super Bowl. 2 Quote All roads lead to Dollar General. I don't know what Carr's contract status is, but unless he's in his walk year, I don't think the team can afford to cut him loose and carry that money. My guess is there aren't too many, if any, teams out there willing to pay the freight on the rest of his contract. Then again, the idiot Browns traded away their future and paid a quarter of a billion dollars to get a serial sex offender who hadn't played a game in two years. When compared to that, maybe picking up Derek Carr isn't as dumb as it seems. So who knows? Quote All roads lead to Dollar General.
DG_YouKnowWhatThatMeans
The Vikings are 10-3 with a negative point differential (-1). That seems almost impossible. Other fun point differential stats: no team in the AFC South has a positive differential, though Jacksonville is an even 0. Every team in the NFC South has a negative point differential, though that's probably obvious. Only one team in the AFC West has a positive differential (KC, obviously), and every team the the AFC East has a positive point differential. Also, Dallas and Philadelphia have more than +130 point differentials, first and third in the league. 1 Quote 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags

FWIW, when Brady first retired the QB I wanted most for the Bucs was Carr. He’s not a world beater by any means, but is a very solid qb who has added positively to the Raiders game more than he’s hurt it. That might not be much of a compliment for a starting QB, but it still is a compliment. I would take him in a trade for Brady right now in a heartbeat. 2 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) DoctorWhom
Carr just signed a new Deal this season (though 2025), but has an opt out next year (which I doubt he takes). He seems way too dedicated to the team to demand a trade or opt out. So the Raiders best chance is drafting QB next year. Unfortunately is one of those players that would rather stay loyal to his team, than go somewhere he could have a lot more success.
Cosmic
Bills are home against the Dolphins Saturday night. I don't think we've had a night snow game in Buffalo in a long, long, long time. I loved that about the XFL, but I'd be very surprised if the NFL ever does it. Transparency and gimmickry were in the XFL's best interests. The NFL knows we're all little addicted pigs who will eat their slop regardless of what they do and they like having the ability to nudge a game in one direction or the other however they wish and will never show us behind the curtain. Sport
The 0-2 and then 4-4 Bengals are now 9-4, which is very fun. First win over the Browns since 2019. Really relieved to see Burrow and company finally got the Browns monkey off their back. The Browns are a bad matchup for the Bengals - Their strengths line up with our weaknesses and I don't really know how to explain that if you haven't watched the games. The Browns in the last two that counted* have gotten a couple early bounces and taken leads and then from there the matchup problem just gets worse, which has lead to some misleadingly lopsided scores. Yesterday the Bengals were finally able to get ahead and flip the tables on that. Run defense looking very stout, rookie Cam Taylor-Britt is filling in for Awuzie better than I could've hoped, and they always seem to come up with the big stop in the redzone. Be really helpful if the Browns and the Sentient Pornhub Video were to get their act together next week against a very beatable Ravens squad. *Week 18 last year was a JV scrimmage (Bengals had already clinched the division and playoff seeding was locked) and if you count that as a W as a Browns fan then you're a DORK.
