He was inexplicably a finalist for the job last year but things didn't work out. While I think it's absurd to assume that coordinators that have good years will automatically make good HCs, the Eagles defensive stats can't be questioned (though he had all the talent in the world to work with.) Texans also received permission to interview Eagles OC Shane Steicken.
