Name That Font!

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping to find the font names for the "Hill Valley" and the "A Nice Place to Live" parts of the Back to the Future sign. Thoughts?

If you like it, use it. Don't let snobs hinder your design or creativity.

I actually was looking to recreate the logo but stumbled across the actual vector so crisis averted. Thank you both for your help.

I just noticed how much the Columbus Blue Jackets # font looks like copperplate. I created a sample photo to show you guys:

Blue Jackets is on the top, copperplate is on the bottom.

It doesn't "look like" Copperplate. It is Copperplate.

It's just been squished and scaled.

Anyone have an idea about the "84" font and the font around the outside reading "LOUISIANA WORLD EXPOSITION"?

Lucida Grande? I think apple uses that for everything, basically, but I could be wrong.

"84" looks to be Friz Quadrata also. "Louisiana World Exposition" is Eurostile Extended, probably Medium.

"iPad" is Myriad Bold.
