Kess
Rick Ankiel is trying to make his way as an outfielder in the Cardinals farm system last I heard. This is true. I saw him play a couple of times with my hometown team, the Springfield Cardinals (Double A, Texas League). Here's currently on the DL. I expect he will be shipped to Memphis - maybe? - when he's healthy. He's not MLB-ready and I don't know if he's repeat Double A or not. He finished last year on a tear and ended up batting .243-10-30 for Springfield.

ROCHitman
Ankiel was in Cards camp this spring but his injury prevented him from shoeing anyhting promising. He's a decent hitter with good speed so he should be productive in AA and possibly AAA. Owner of Kalamazoo Tech Kobras (Nat'l College Fant. Assc.
