it should be

Detroit: Black alts

VS

Miami: Orange alts or 1972 Throwbacks

Dallas: Throwbacks (you know which ones I'm talkin' about.... :P )

VS

Tampa: regular white jerseys (they haven't earned it yet)

KC: Current jersey (it already looks old-school)

VS

Denver: Orange crush throwbacks, NOT THE MODERN KNOCKOFFS!

Engine, Engine, Number Nine, on the New York transit line,

If my train goes off the track, pick it up! Pick it up! Pick it up!

Back on the scene, crispy and clean,

You can try, but then why, 'cause you can't intervene.

We be the outcast, down for the settle. Won't play the rock, won't play the pebble.

sorry my bad i could have swore a few years back a majority of the teams wearing throwbacks. my mistake. i do like that the nfl changes the logos on the homepage for the weekend.

I think the first year the NFL had the throwback program along with the Thanksgiving games the Saints wore their throwbacks for the Sunday Night home game and the 49ers used their throwbacks in their home game on Monday Night. That could be what you were thinking of, unless you were thinking all the way back to the 75th anniversary season.

I say there should be a rule all teams wear throwbacks Thanksgiving weekend.

I agree but there are some teams that wouldn't have throwback uniforms to wear. For example, the Ravens only changed their uniforms once. They can't wear their original uniforms because someone sued them over the logo. They can't wear throwback Colts uniforms either (I really hope that Indianapolis does move and change its name, that way we could have a throwback day once a year). They might be able to wear the old uniforms with a blank helmet or the old USFL Stars or CFL Stallions uniforms. That would be cool but not sure if they are copyrighted.

To quote a fan off one of the cowboys boards in regards to the jerseys they are wearing today:

The title pretty much says it all . Didn't losing the 1994 championship game in these ugly uniforms teach that idiot Jones anything ? The losing record when wearing these ugly rags says it all ! Seems like marketing ugly jerseys means more to the :censored: who owns this team than winning ! I expect silver and blue excellence , nothing less on a team that can pick their uniforms in a :censored:ing home game fer christ's sake ! The early 60s team lost more games than they won in these Halloween costumes and the losing tradition continued when they brought the mother :censored:ers back in the 90s ! Win or lose today those ugly uniforms gotta go !

another one

I can't stand those jersey's. I wish they would only use them as a road jersey because anything other than the white jersey's at home is just criminal.

The top one is funny because they wore the modified versions of the throwbacks (whcih ruled aswell). 2004 or 2005, I think was Dallas' first time ever wearing ACTUAL THROWBACK uniforms.

I wonder what they would say if you pointed out their beloved white jersey home uniforms are terribly mismatched.

Well for a few years the NFL had a Program going that had every NFL team playing on Thanksgiving wearing throwbacks & they didn't count as a a alternate jersey so teams could wear 2 different alts one 3rd jersey up to 2 times & a throwback on thanksgiving or 3 throwbacks a year . But the NFL as stopped that . so if a team wears a throwback on thanksgiving now it counts as a 3rd jersey .
